Hi guys, it has been almost 2 months since I didn’t post anything on my blog as I have been busy with my new job however rest assured there are gameplay videos planned in the coming weeks. Let us go over the highlights what has happened in the world of gaming and everything else that caught my attention.
Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet DLC 3 confirmed for 30th August 2018(New Trailer)
This might not come as a surprise as the next DLC “Collapse of Balance” is scheduled to be released on 30th August 2018. The main highlight is the appearance of Eugeo and Alice which is no surprise as they have made an appearance back in SAO: Hollow Realization and Accel World Vs Sword Art Online. However, after watching the trailer it seems that Eugeo and Alice seems to get right down to business upon meeting the gang. There are many speculating that this will be the last DLC for Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet but we shall have to wait and see when it releases. NVIDIA Announces a more powerful graphics card
NVIDIA reveals the successor to the NVIDIA GTX 1080 series with the NVIDIA RTX 2080 series designed to provide better performance than the 1080 series in everyday tasks including gaming. However, the pricing for these two series of graphics cards are relatively high so unless you have that much money to spend, you are better off waiting until the price lowers slightly. Also, the game must also be able to take advantage of the graphics card otherwise there may not be any difference so we will just have to wait and see the people lucky enough to get their hands on one.
Pokemon World Championship 2018
Of course the Pokemon World Championship kicks off this weekend in Nashville, Tennessee, USA. However, the only announcement that stands out is the Pokemon Live Action Movie, Pokemon Detective with the presence of the director of the movie as well as some of the casts asking the audience to be part of the movie by means of yelling chants that will be used in the film. I shall be looking forward to see how this movie turns out when it releases sometime next year. Strangely enough, there wasn’t any announcement regarding the new Pokemon RPG game which scheduled for release in 2019. Sword Art Online: Alicization World Premiere On September 15th
This is probably my favourite, because I’m a Sword Art Online fan however a bit disappointed that this 60 minute screening will not come to South East Asia countries. The countries announcing the screening is US, Japan and Australia all with their own anime events which will include this screening. Hopefully, Aniplus will try to be part of the worldwide premiere screening event.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 New DLC: Torna – The Golden Country scheduled for release on September 14th for Expansion Pass Owners
Finally, we have reached the final part of the Expansion Pass which is a new story mode. Most notable is we are able to revisit the past and learn more about the past as it was only vaguely explained through normal gameplay. A surprise screening in October 2018
As the title suggests, there will a special screening later in October. I will let you guys in on the details as we get nearer towards the release date so stay tuned.
