Spice and Wolf: merchant meets the wise wolf :
Episode | Score | Comment/Impressions |
1 | 7/10 | Good episode. Kinda funny seeing how the Holo managed to slip into Lawrence’s carriage during the harvest festival. At first, he refuses to entertain her request however after she revealed more details about herself he finally agreed. Can’t wait to see where their journey will take them in the coming episodes…… |
2 | 7/10 | Good episode. Kinda funny seeing Lawrence and Holo on the trip together. What is even more funnier is whenever they are in public, he would introduce Holo as his wife who has burned face in an attempt to seal her identity especially from the church people. Looks like Lawrence is about to enter into a deal with a merchant when Holo warned her that the man maybe be lying thus earning her a reward in exchange. It seems like Lawrence had a past experience about being attacked by wolves where he doesn’t feel like opening up about it yet. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them on their journey in next week’s episode……… |
3 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Kinda funny seeing Lawrence trying his best to sell some pelt at a guild only to have Holo swoop in and negotiate a higher price for her pelt. Later we learned there were some shady practices going on among the traders in the town related to the silver coin where Holo notices something unusual and decides to investigate it. What will they uncover???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
4 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like someone is on to them after they made a deal in regards to the silver coin as evident by the loud banging on their inn room door. Luckily, Lawrence was able to escape from the grasp of those men however Holo ended up being captured as she decides to distract them to allow Lawrence to escape. Unfortunately, things didn’t get any better when Lawrence learned that Holo is captured by Medio Trading. Who was that mysterious person that walked in to meet the captured Holo???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
5 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see Lawrence was able to come up with a plan as well as convince the leader of Milone Trading Company to help him with his plan to rescue Holo before Medio Trading decides to hand Holo over to the church. Luckily for Lawrence, everything went according to plan and he was able to rescue Holo via underground waterway. It seems there are people are on to them. Will they be able to escape from them???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
6 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. As they tried to escape through the underground waterway, their pursuers managed to corner them while injuring Lawrence which put them in a very tight spot. With little choice, Holo was forced to unveil her true form in order to save Lawrence which was kinda scary to witness. Good to see everything work out in the end with Lawrence and Holo being able to continue their journey. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in next week’s episode. |
7 | 7/10 | Good episode. Looks like Holo and Lawrence arrived at another town where they visit a nearby merchant to stock up on items before continuing on their journey, Kinda funny seeing them negotiate with the merchant in order to get more for less. As they make their way through the countryside, they ran into another person where Holo feels uncomfortable. Who could she be???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
8 | 7/10 | Good episode. It turns out that she was Shepherd named Nora who offered to escort them through the fields while protecting them from the wolves. Kinda funny seeing Holo getting jealous at the idea as well as throughout their journey. We also learned quite a bit about Nora and Lawrence gave her some advise before parting ways. I guess we might see her again later down the line. Meanwhile, Lawrence gets in touch with someone at the local bar who seems to know him ever since he was little whilst Holo waits outside. I wonder what was going on in the town???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
9 | 7/10 | Good episode. Looks like Lawrence and Holo are on another trading mission where they are looking for buyers for the armour they acquired in the previous town. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances they are currently worthless as the expedition group that as supposed to use them ended up cancelling their trip at the last minute therefore it means Lawrence was betrayed once again. Making matters worst, no one is willing to help them. How will they get out of this mess???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
10 | 7/10 | Good episode. It seems like people are after him to collect debt which left both him and Holo in a tight spot as they are desperate to earn more money to pay off their debts. Furthermore, Lawrence lack of attention towards Holo’s feeling made her angry with him resulting in slight conflict. Thankfully they were able to bounce back and embark on another dangerous plan to earn money which was to smuggle gold by enlisting help from Nora. I’m honestly surprised that Nora went a long with it. Will they be successful???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
11 | 7/10 | Good episode. Good to see they made it through the Forest of Wolves despite having to be on guard whilst they rested along the way. After reaching the town, they managed to get the gold and now they must smuggle it carefully without getting caught. Unfortunately, as the pass through the forest, it started to rain and they already noticed the wolves were on to them. Holo and Lawrence stayed behind to hold back the wolves while Nora and merchant continues onwards. Unfortunately, Lawrence was once again ambushed and captured after he thought he was being rescued which means someone has betrayed him once again. I guess you can’t really trust anyone nowadays. Can’t wait to see what else awaits him in next week’s episode. |
12 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Once again Lawrence was saved by Holo which kinda makes me wonder why Holo still travels with him. Good to see Holo managed to catch up with those traitors and take them out along with saving Nora before meeting with the mastermind behind the plan to negotiate. Hopefully, everything will be in Lawrence favor from here on out in the coming episodes…….. |
13 | 7/10 | Good episode. Good to see Lawrence, Holo and Nora having a well deserved meal after their recent success. Suddenly, Holo collapsed where we learned that she caught a fever. I guess she must have been worn out from transforming as well as protecting Lawrence. Thankfully, Lawrence was able to give her something to help her recover while she contemplates her future. Can’t wait to see their journey continue in next week’s episode. |
The Banished Former Hero Lives as He Pleases :
Episode | Score | Comment/Impressions |
1 | 7/10 | Good episode. It seems like Alan used to live a good life before reincarnating into a family who cast him out after he failed to show any aptitude in his abilities. After he was cast out, he rescued Lise who was being attacked by monster and began their journey afterwards. Soon they ran into a “hero” who they ended up helping after seeing her situation but Alan ended up breaking his only sword. It seems that someone is spying on them. Who could be behind it???? Can’t wait for next episode to find out. |
2 | 7/10 | Good episode. After Alan’s party and the “hero” parted ways, they began making way to the swordsmith to repair his sword. Kinda funny seeing the swordsmith asleep upon their arrival. At first she refused to fix the sword however after she took a step back, she realized something special about Alan’s way of handling a sword and decided to forge him the best sword possible. Meanwhile, Alan ran into those mysterious people spying on him whom we later learned were given orders by his own family. After the sword was done, Alan and the swordsmith decided to take it for a spin however it seems they encountered an enemy from the swordsmith’s past given her reaction. Will Alan be able to defeat it???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
3 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like Noelle’s really intent on avenging her mother’s death by defeating that monster despite the odds stacked against her. We also learned of the events that lead up to her mother’s death which was kinda sad to watch. Soon we learned the true reason why they visited the town which was to investigate an incident related to that creature which in turn seems to be related to the mysterious guy that met Alan previously. Good to see Alan coming in and saving Noelle after she tried to attack that creature by herself as well as freeing the other girl who was under the mysterious man’s control. Can’t wait to see what other challenges await Alan in next week’s episode…….. |
4 | 7/10 | Good episode. We now arrive at another village in hopes of finding more clues towards the sinister incidents that have been happening throughout the kingdom. However it seems something odd was going on as they were seeing dead people living peacefully among the living. Later Elise come across her uncle who’s corpse was being controlled by someone. Luckily Alan came in and saved her as well as freeing the corpse from being controlled. After that incident, we learned that the village chief was responsible for it as he tried to take Alan out but to no effect as Alan was able to counter his attack. What else awaits them???? Can’t wait for later episodes to find out……… |
5 | 7/10 | Good episode. Looks like Westfelts’ are planning something big and dangerous as evident by the reaction by the townsfolk during the announcement. Meanwhile, their henchmen tried to take out the Hero of the town however due to something Alan did a while back, they were protected and they were able to go after Bret. During the great reveal, Bret senses the presence of Alan which made him furious. What will they both do next???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
6 | 7/10 | Good episode. Good to see Alan was able to put a stop towards Bret and his father’s plans even though he ended up losing his father as he was completely consumed by the devil’s power until the very end. Kinda sad seeing Alan’s dad in that state until the very end but its somewhat understandable given that he still hasn’t overcome the loss of his wife. I wonder what happened to Bret? Did he get arrested? Good to see the kingdom is under new leadership where the new king tried to reward him but he refused therefore he ended up with a new travel companion as his journey continues…….. |
7 | 7/10 | Good episode. Kinda funny seeing Alan being bombarded with all kinds of requests from various parties to which he managed to complete in a single day. Later we see he is out on another adventure in Victour Empire where he ran into an old friend. Unfortunately, Alan into trouble as it appears he was framed for a murder of person when it was clearly a demon was behind it. Luckily he managed to escape the knights that were on to him and taking refuge at his old friend’s mansion. Will he be able to solve this and clear his name???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
8 | 7/10 | Good episode. Unfortunately, they were not able to leave Henriette’s place due to Black Wolf Knights that were after them. Later, Henriette brings them to visit the Elven Forest where they meet elves who seemed to have grown accustomed to the outside world culture. Soon we learned that it was Henriette that brought them those items as well as teaching them. It seems like something bad is on the horizon as one of the Elves was captured by the Black Wolf Knights and was forced to lead them to the Elven forest. Can’t wait to see what happens in next week’s episode. |
9 | 7/10 | Good episode. Kinda funny seeing Alan wanting to settle down in the Elven Forest after realizing how peaceful it was. Unfortunately, things started to take a turn for the worst as one of the members of the Black Wolf Knights began attacking the people of Elven Forest prompting Alan and his friends to intervene. Luckily, Henriette offered to take care of it for them however it seems they were unaware of what she meant by that. Can’t wait for later episodes to find out. |
10 | 7/10 | Good episode. It seems like Alan’s party was approached by Henriette’s younger brother who asks to rescue her as she has been captured by the Black Wolf Knights. As they did a little bit of digging, they learned that the Black Wolf knights were on to them. Unfortunately, they weren’t able to finish coming up with a plan when two of them were captured whilst they were in town. Can’t wait to see how they will handle this in next week’s episode. |
11 | 7/10 | Good episode. It seems like the Black Wolf knight they fought whilst in the Elves Forest was the one behind it. A fierce battle ensued after we learned that he caught two of Alan’s friends which reminded Alan of his past life. However just as Alan was about to deliver the final blow, another member of Black Wolf Knights stopped and promised to deal with this herself which seems kinda scary seeing what happened to him afterwards. Soon they were heading to the town where Henriette was held captive only run into another Black Wolf Knight member as they tried to enter via the underground catacombs. Not sure why but I have a feeling someone related to Henriette is behind it all. Can’t wait to see what happens in next week’s final episode…… |
12 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see Alan ignore Henriette’s pleas and rescued her anyways. It turns out her younger brother was behind it and was in possession of the demon’s power similar to Alan’s family. Alan and Henriette tried to talk him out of it however the power of the demon continues to consume him forcing Alan to take him out. Since the recent events has caused turmoil in the kingdom, they were forced to fake Henriette’s death and now she is in the same predicament as Alan which was kinda funny to watch. Good to see everything worked out in the end. |
WIND BREAKER :
Episode | Score | Comment/Impressions |
1 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Not sure if his past was the real reason for his current behaviour when he arrived at Furin to attend high school. Good to see him helping people out although kinda funny seeing his quirkiness when receiving gratitude from people. Soon he meets up with the rest of his schoolmates after being involved in a gang fight to which they won. Can’t wait to learn more about Sakura in the coming episodes……… |
2 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see Sakura somewhat getting along with the community despite his constant complaining. Later we meet with another member, Akihiko who seems to be clumsy and goofy guy but we soon learn what he is capable of after Sakura saved him from a gangster fight. Later we meet with the rest of his classmates who are all delinquents especially Kyoutarou who appears to pick a fight with Sakura. Can’t wait to see how this will play out in next week’s episode. |
3 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Now we know why Kyoutarou picked a fight with Sakura as it seems both of them have the same goals in mind. Kinda scary when everyone was paying attention after the leader came on over the P.A despite his somewhat goofy appearance. Afterwards, Sakura gets a taste of the daily routines for a Bofurin which involves patrolling the streets as well as helping out anyone in need. Suddenly, they were faced with an emergency where someone from their turf was running towards them from another group of people from a different turf. From there, we learned a bit about them after Kyoutarou and Sakura landed a blow on one of them. Soon they meet up with the leader of Bofurin but he was not the person they expect to be given his appearance. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in the coming episode…….. |
4 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Looks like a gang fight is about to take place between Bofurin and Shishitoren after that incident in last week’s episode as their second in command, Jo has declared war on Bofurin during their surprise visit to Bofurin HQ. We learn a bit more about Shishitoren operates which was quite interesting but also disturbing. Who will come out on top???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
5 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. The team from Bofurin has made their way towards Shishitoren’s lair where they find that their one on one battle will be on a stage which seems unusual location for a battle. So far, Bofurin has been sweeping the floor against Shishitoren with two of them wiped out. The most interesting battle was Suou’s battle where it seem he was toying with his opponent before completely mockery of him. Can’t wait to see how the battle progresses in next week’s episode…….. |
6 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Phew. Another win for Bofurin. Quite an emotional past between Hiragi and Sako. At first, it seemed like Hiragi was being overwhelmed by Sako but somehow he managed to turn things around and for another win. The matchups so far have been quite good making each battle quite fulfilling to watch. I wonder who is up next???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out……….. |
7 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Looks like the next pair to duke it out is Sakura vs Togame. At first, Sakura appears to be completely overwhelmed by Togame’s attacks. However he soon manages to catch up and land a few hits himself although he wasn’t able to defend most of the counterattacks. During the battle, we learned a bit more about Togame and Chouji’s relationship as well as how they found each other and climbed the ranks of Shishitoren. I wonder what happened to Togame as he demeanour seems to have changed part way through their battle???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
8 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. That was good and honourable fight between Togame and Sakura. I’m actually amazed that Sakura was able to help Togame find his path although that didn’t sit well with the leader of Shishitoren. Now its up to Bofurin’s leader to face off against the leader of Shishitoren both with different ideals. Who will win???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
9 | 9/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see Umemiya managed to get through to Tomiyama during their one-on-one fight. The one thing I really like about Umemiya is that he is able to turn any negative situation into a positive situation as well as bringing people together especially after their fight. Definitely a heart-warming moment to see the conflicts between Furin and Shishitoren finally resolved. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in the coming episodes…….. |
10 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Kinda heart-warming seeing Umemiya uniting both Furin and Shishitoren by ordering takeout food for everyone after their battle. We learned a bit more about Umemiya’s ideals as well as how he was able to reach the top. Later Furin continued their celebration at the cafe where Umemiya and Sakura sat down and talked together which was kinda funny to watch. It seems Sakura is still having doubts but he is slowly opening up. Can’t wait to see more in next week’s episode. |
11 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Kinda funny seeing Sakura entranced by what Umemiya said to him in the previous episode up to a point where he didn’t realize that someone was calling out to him. Later at Furin, they got somewhat of a warm welcome after that Shishitoren incident before being introduced to two other classmates namely Kiryu and Taiga. Soon they were involved with another fight after a group of thugs were after Kiryu where we learned that he helped her get away from those thugs. Good to see all of them working together to defeat them. Kinda funny seeing them react to the contents of Sakura’s phone which was devoid of apps/contacts which makes you wander why does Sakura even have a cellphone. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in next week’s episode. |
12 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see Sakura continues to open up and improve himself. At least now, he is trying to get to know people with help from his friends. Its always funny to see him blush or pout whenever someone praises him. Can’t wait to see what else awaits him in next week’s final episode. |
13 | 9/10 | Awesome episode. Well that was an interesting meeting indeed with Umemiya especially the part where he asks the 2nd years to show the 1st years the ropes. However one of his classmates, Anzai is hiding something something as evident by his injuries after running into him. Kinda funny seeing both Sakura and Anzai unable to hide their true intentions from the others. It turns out Anzai’s childhood friend is part of the KEEL group and was involved in a recent attempted snatch theft. Since they both saw each other, the KEEL group has been going after Anzai which explains his injuries and the threats he received. Good to see the entire class gathered to help him save his friend which even surprised their seniors. Can’t wait to see how this plays out in next season which is scheduled for 2025. |
Dragon Raja -The Blazing Dawn- :
Episode | Score | Comment/Impressions |
0 | 7/10 | Good episode. Not sure what is going on here but it seems like Lu Mingfei had some kind of aptitude which lead to him being scouted by a professor. Kinda funny seeing the Professor using all means possible to get Lu Mingfei to accept the offer including scholarships. In the end, it was his subordinate that managed to do it by making him decide between his love or his future. Can’t wait to see how he will manage living a new life at the university. |
1 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like Lu Mingfei may have some hidden ability as revealed during his wait for the train to the college as well as during the train ride. Kinda funny seeing him meet his Senpai who seemed to be a goofy kinda person. Soon we learned the true reason why Lu Mingfei was invited to attend that university. Upon arriving, Lu Mingfei stumbled into something unusual. Can’t wait to see how he will handle it in next episode…….. |
2 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like Lu Mingfei has stumbled into an event where students were allowed to do anything which in this case appears to be a gunfight among students. It seems like Lu Mingfei have an alternate persona inside of him as evident when his total fear allowed the alternate persona to take over his body and respond to the gunfight thus resulting in him taking down the two top students. Now that he has earned the hatred from all the students, how will he manage throughout his time at the university???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
3 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. I’m quite amazed seeing Lu Mingfei having to take an exam as soon as arrived at the university. Unfortunately, his Yangling is unable to resonate with the dragon spirit which puts him at a disadvantage and causes a slight commotion throughout the university. Luckily his senpai helped him cheat on the test but it seems someone else also wanted him to pass the exam too. Who could that person be???? Kinda funny seeing how the test affected the rest of the students and how Lu Mingfei manages to pass the exam after passing out as he was meeting his alternate persona where we learned a bit more about him. Later we witness two students uncovering a mysterious dragon temple. Can’t wait to see what they find down there in next episode……… |
4 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like those two students got more than they bargained for as they ended up in a palace that was very unusual in terms of the layout. Also it seems there were unusual traps as one of them was temporarily possessed as she tried to read the dragon language. Unfortunately, those two ended up trapped the palace as they tried to escape leading to all A-rank students and higher to gather to help crack the maze. It seems like that earlier meeting with his alternate persona helped him crack the puzzle to the amazement of everyone in the room. However, will those two be able to make it out alive???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
5 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Despite Lu Mingfei cracking the puzzle, however there was barely enough time for Aki and Ye Sheng to escape that place due to their limited oxygen supply. However Aki managed to deliver the items they gathered before being killed a fish-like creature which turned out to be some Dragon God. Unfortunately, their professor also was killed while trying to avenge the death for the both of them. Meanwhile, Lu Mingfei’s success has earned him an invitation from both leaders of the two student groups. I wonder which one will he choose???? Can’t wait for next episode to find out. |
6 | 7/10 | Good episode. It seems like Lu Mingfei is undecided which group to join and one of those invitation was to a fancy party which kinda felt awkward when his roommate tagged along and not long after we saw both of them dancing. However, Lu Mingfei was still undecided on which group to join. Unfortunately, their calm night didn’t last very long as their campus was suddenly broken into by an unknown entity who I presume is after that item that they recently acquired. Will they be able to defend their school???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
7 | 7/10 | Good episode. The battle is underway as the Protective Yangling was removed in order to track down the rest of the enemies. Meanwhile, one of them has managed to infiltrate the pathway to the lab which was quite interesting. Also, I find it strange that no one contact Lu Mingfei to return to college since the attack began as he was busy dating somewhere. It seems like that mysterious person that was controlling Lu Mingfei also managed to control that intruder to open that underwater door. What could be behind that door???? Can’t wait for next episode to find out. |
8 | 7/10 | Good episode. It seems like it was some kind of shark that was lurking behind that door however it seemed to not be interested in the intruder. However it seems the water currents have pushed him straight to the pathway to the lab where Dragon Emperor’s egg looking object was kept. Unfortunately, he lost his phone along the way to the lab therefore he didn’t know what was the last task for his mission thus ended up abandoning it however it seemed someone else took liberty of completing that task thus unleashing something. What could it be???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
9 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It turns out that intruder, Lao Tang was Lu Mingfei’s old friend after he ran into him as he tried to make his escape. Unfortunately, their reunion was short-lived as the dragon suddenly appeared behind them and started chasing them while calling out brother which sounds awfully familiar. While they were hiding from that dragon, Lu Mingfei suddenly appeared in another realm where he met the dragon in its human form. Can’t wait to see what awaits him in next episode………. |
10 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like that dragon that was on the loose was actually looking for its twin brother as evident when Lao Tang finally awakened after that dragon was killed right in front of him which led to him regaining his memory after running away in disbelief when the dragon continued to call out to him as his brother. Looks like Lu Mingfei will be on another mission as the principal has plans to eradicate the other dragons during one of his discussions. Can’t wait to see how this plays out in next week’s episode. |
11 | 7/10 | Good episode. When Lu Mingfei was called to take on the mission, he initially wanted to refuse however once he was given a chance to voice out his feelings, he eventually decides to take on the mission. Kinda funny the two month training he took in preparation for his mission although I don’t think he was mentally prepared. Unfortunately, when his group arrived at the palace, they noticed the air was no longer stale which means the Dragon Emperor Norton has returned. I wonder how will they carry out the mission to detonate the palace safely???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
12 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see Lu Mingfei and his partner was able to reach further into the temple and eventually arriving at what appears to be his lair. Soon they arrived at this odd looking house where it looked quite similar to the memories he had seen during his encounter with the dragon back at school however there were no signs of Dragon Emperor Norton. After his partner realised what this place was, they immediately tried to get out only to end up loss. Luckily Lu Mingfei was able to reach out to his buddy, Finger in hopes of getting a map to escape the palace. Will they be able to complete the mission and escape from the temple alive???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
13 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Kinda funny seeing Lu Mingfei using the teacher’s power to exchange information on how to escape the temple. Along the way, they found Ye Sheng’s body which was holding something that could unravel more secrets about the Dragon Emperor Norton. As they continued to make their way out, a voice echoes inside Lu Mingfei from someone who looks like himself only older about using his own strength to get them out which prompted him to do something crazy when trying to get past the temple door. Meanwhile, Cesar had to contend with Dragon Emperor Norton who had fused with that monster and is going after them. This is getting intense. Can’t wait to see what happens in next week’s episode. |
14 | 9/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see Chu Zihang and Caesar managed to use their full strength to defeat the Dragon Emperor Norton even though they were injured themselves during the battle. Unfortunately, the same can’t be said from Lu Mingfei as his companion was stabbed in the back by that monster before she could get inside the capsule. Will he be able to recover from this???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
15 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. At first, it seems like Lu Mingfei was in distress along with a feeling of regret until he was once again ended up summoning Lu Mingzei where he expresses his desire to save Nono no matter the cost. It gave Lu Mingzei to offer a deal where he can take Lu Mingfei’s soul after four summons if he agrees to help him. I’m genuinely surprised that Lu Mingfei actually accepted it and now we get to see what Lu Mingzei can actually do which was giving Yanglings to Lu Mingfei which he promptly used in his battle against Dragon Emperor Norton. Will he be able to defeat him???? Can’t wait for next week’s final episode to find out. |
16 | 9/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see Lu Mingfei battling the Dragon Emperor in hopes of saving Nono. However he somewhat hesitated when he tried to attack Norton himself as he resembles his friend, Lao Tang. He tries his best to snap him out of it but to no avail as Norton had taken over his friend’s body. Eventually, he was forced to kill him but the strike of the sword only injured him and he escaped after being struck by another bullet which put an end to their battle. It seems like the Principal knew everything about Lu Mingfei but chose to keep quiet which makes me wonder, what else is he hiding from Lu Mingfei, perhaps the true whereabouts of his parents???? I guess we will never know unless they greenlight another season to continue the story. |
YATAGARASU: The Raven Does Not Choose Its Master :
Episode | Score | Comment/Impressions |
1 | 7/10 | Good episode. Not sure what were those two boys were running away from only to be saved by a Raven. It seems there maybe some kind of power struggle between the ladies during the Rite of Ascension with the lady from Eastern House being singled out by the others due to the meaning of her name. It seems there is a lot going on behind the scenes from each house to ensure their lady gets chosen. Not sure how Ravens play a part in this. Can’t wait to see how this plays out in the coming episodes……. |
2 | 7/10 | Good episode. Kinda funny seeing Yukiya getting reprimanded for that brawl from last week’s episode. It seems like the prince plans on using him for something to which the others agreed with the idea of sending him off to live with the prince as his attendant. It seems like he is struggling a bit during one of the matches. However there seems like there were rumors surrounding Yukiya and his family to which he took out on Ichiryu. Soon Yukiya finally meets with prince but what is even more scary is when he learned that he and one other attendant will be working in the palace as the others either quit or were dismissed. Will he be able to hang on???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
3 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Kinda funny seeing Yukiya carrying out all the tasks given to him by the Prince. Now I understand why the previous attendants either quit or was let go as they most likely unable to handle the tasks given with some being absolutely ridiculous. We learned a bit more about the Prince and why it seems he was avoiding some of his duties after Yukiya was used as scapegoat after he got caught spying at the house where the princesses lived. Will Yukiya be able to get himself out of this situation???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
4 | 7/10 | Good episode. Looks like the prince helped him out of the situation. Soon we learned that the council was attempting to stop the Prince from ascending to the throne however the Prince managed to stop them just in time. However that still didn’t stop them from using underhanded tactics to try an assassinate him. It seems like Yukiya’s time with the Prince has resulted in the Prince offering him to be his aide to which he refused at first however after a little negotiating he finally accepted. Can’t wait to see what else awaits him in next week’s episode………. |
5 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like the Prince’s plans are a bit unorthodox as he used Yukiya as collateral after losing a fortune during a dice game when in reality it was so that he can sniff out the perpetrator behind the Prince’s assassination in the criminal underworld. Its a good thing the plan went better than expected even though Yukiya was mad at the prince afterwards which was kinda funny to watch. Later, the prince receives an urgent visit from one of house’s representatives. I wonder what is that person’s request???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
6 | 7/10 | Good episode. It seems that person was informing the Prince of some inside story behind one of the suspected perpetrator which prompted the prince to request an audience with that person. Later as he was on the way to the Cherry Blossom Palace for Tanabata, his request for an audience was suddenly approved prompting him to abandoned the Tanabata leaving Yukiya to go an apologize to ladies of Cherry Blossom Palace. I can senses a lot of power struggle going on behind the scenes in regards to the throne. Can’t wait to see what happens in next week’s epiosode. |
7 | 7/10 | Good episode. It seems like one of the person who Yukiya saw during the secret meeting has called out to him was he was heading to prince’s meeting location. Meanwhile, the heat is up among the princesses from the four houses where everyone is doing everything they can so that they will get chosen by the prince for the accension. Honestly, I can’t believe how far some will go in order to get that opportunity. Unfortunately things have taken a turn for the worst as Sumio was called to the palace to help investigate a murder. Can’t wait to see what happens in next week’s episode. |
8 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like the murdered person was actually one of the princess from the Cherry Blossom Palace. When news of this broke out, there was initial panic and suspicion that someone maybe trying to get rid of the others in order to ascent to the throne with the prince. Later, a Raven was caught trespassing the Cherry Blossom Palace late at night only to be killed when it tried to make it escape the following morning. Kinda sad seeing a lot of accusations being thrown around. Hopefully they will uncover the truth in the coming episodes…… |
9 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like the situation at the Cherry Blossom Palace has gotten a lot worst after that murder. Soon we learned that Hamayu of the Southern House was indeed plotting to kill the prince as she unveiled her plan as well as a bit of history regarding the previous incidents before escaping. Later, the Prince and Yukiya decides to go after the suspected perpetrator. Meanwhile, Sumio discovered another Raven who seemed to have collapsed by the river. Who could it be???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
10 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to find out the identity of the Raven that collapsed by the river. However, an injured Atsufusa requests to meet with the Prince to reveal the identity of the person who is plotting to kill him which turns out to be Atsufusa himself as both the Prince and Sumio were ambushed . Luckily Yukiya was able to get some help from Rokon and from there he learned about the prince’s secret as well as his relationship with the prince which left him shaken. Will Yukiya continue to serve the Prince???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
11 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems Yukiya felt used after the Prince revealed the true reason why he took on him as his aide. We also learned a bit more about Yukiya’s past where his parent’s had a plan to put him up for adoption due to some succession disputes. Yukiya was almost at the point of lashing out against the Prince when Rokon brought home to see Atsufusa to learn more. I guess he decided to stay with the Prince past Spring as he escorted him to the Cherry Blossom Palace where the Prince finally announces he will choose his bride to the surprise of everyone. I wonder who he will choose???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
12 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like Prince’s sudden appearance at the Cherry Blossom palace for the empress selection caught everyone of guard. From there, he grilled and exposed every single empress from each house which resulted in many of them withdrawing from the selection. It seems like the person he met from childhood, Asebi has her own dark secrets far greater than the other empresses. I wonder who will end up getting chosen???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
13 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Now that every single princess of the Cherry Blossom Palace had their secrets and controversies revealed in front of everyone, does the Prince even have to choose anymore. Soon after the ceremony, Yukiya’s time at the Prince’s place is finally over and he prepares to say goodbye. However something that resembles a disease outbreak is occurring amongst them. Can’t wait to see what happens in next week’s episode. |
14 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Kinda funny seeing Yukiya and the Prince meet up again Yukiya’s hometown after he ran into a rogue Raven. Soon we learned from the Prince that there is drug epidemic which has been spreading from the Center and he requests for Yukiya’s help in tracking down the perpetrator. At first, he refuses and propose his elder brother instead which was quite funny to watch them quarrel. In the end, Yukiya ends up leaving with the Prince to start the investigation where they learn a vital clue from a nearby village. Upon checking, they witnessed a monster hiding in one of the houses. What is that monster and where did it come from? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
15 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Kinda of scary moment when we saw both Yukiya and the Prince being attacked by the monkey as they searched one of the houses. Luckily the Prince was able to quickly take out the monkey before it attacked them. Unfortunately, as they were searching for survivors, Yukiya found someone who he thought was a survivor but turns out to be another monkey as it suddenly transformed into one and captured him. Once again, the prince managed to save him but this discovery that the monkey can shape-shift into humans sends shockwave throughout the entire kingdom. Fortunately, they managed to find a lone girl survivor only for her survival to be called into question. Currently, that lone girl survivor is currently living with Yukiya’s family after Yukiya’s mother offered to take her in for the time being despite objections from Yukiya. It seems to me there is some underground dealings that could be linked to these incidents. I wonder what were their goals???? Can’t wait for later episodes to find out. |
16 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. When Yukiya was escorting the girl to get her belongings, they were ambushed by thugs who were after that girl but they stopped short after learning that Yukiya works for the Prince. We also learned that the girl’s father was involved with the underground dealings that left their family in serious debt. However it still doesn’t explain where the monkey came from especially after the Prince confirmed that it didn’t come from outside since the barrier is still holding strong. As the Prince and Yukiya prepare to go back to the underground ravine, they were stopped by Natsuka who was against the Prince going down due to safety concerns there and offers himself to go down there to investigate while bringing Yukiya along. I have a feeling they will use Yukiya as bait to lure out the enemy or have him sneak around the underground ravine to find clues. Can’t wait to see what they will find down there in next week’s episode. |
17 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like their plan didn’t go according to plan as Tobi immediately turned them down as he wanted to see the Prince and not anyone else. In the end, it was Yukiya who able to clear things up and with good timing as Lord Saku took interest in him and decided to let him into the underground tunnel to learn more about the monkeys. However Lord Saku will only keep the entrance open for 4 hours thus poses a challenge for Yukiya. Kinda scary seeing those monkeys down there and Yukiya’s efforts to fend them off after he was spotted. Luckily, the Prince somehow managed to swoop him to save him. Will both of them make it out alive???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
18 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. After nearing escaping from those monkeys, we finally learn the full story from Lord Saku before returning to the palace. We also learned about Yamauchi and the world that lies beyond the barrier which seems pretty grim if you ask me. After further investigation, we learned that the lone girl’s father was involved with the disappearance as well as the dealings with those monkeys and a wanted poster was distributed. Unfortunately, we found him dead after it seemed like he hanged himself to avoid being persecuted for his crimes. What will they do now???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
19 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like there was something attached lone girl father’s body. It turns out the letter was his full confession of his actions and confirms the suspicion of everyone that he was the one who was distributing those sagecap drugs as well as kidnapping people and feeding them to those monkey. When they investigate the well mentioned in the letter, the prince tried to go after it only for it to escape through a tunnel. I wonder where that leads to? Yukiya suspects that lone girl was not telling everything in regards to sagecap distribution but it turns out Yukiya didn’t realize that it was actually lone girl’s mother. Will he be able to put an end to this???? Can’t wait for next week’s final episode to find out. |
20 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Luckily, Yukiya and the Prince was able to save that girl from her mother who was trying to kill her. Unfortunately, her mother’s ex-husband came along and attacked them after arriving in a drugged state. Sadly, the Prince ended up getting stabbed by lone girl’s mother after he took care of the attacker which caused quite a stir and left that lone girl by herself once again as she slowly slips away. Thankfully the Prince survived the attack and resume his duties with Yukiya closely watching his back after learning about Kin’u from Lady Hamayu. Quite a heart-warming moment, seeing Yukiya pledging loyalty to the Prince which lead him to take up the training to be the Yagamuchi guard. Hopefully we can see more of their adventures together if another season gets green lit in the future. |
Tonari no Yokai-san :
Episode | Score | Comment/Impressions |
1 | 7/10 | Good episode. Kinda of strange world they live in where there is both Yokai, humans and god coexists peacefully. There is definitely a mystery surrounding them as evident by what happened to Mutsumi’s father. Kinda funny seeing Buchio trying to learn transformation magic after being reincarnated as a nekomata. What other mysteries that will be unveiled???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
2 | 7/10 | Good episode. Good to see Buchio is willing to learn on how to live as a cat despite his slight anxiety at the beginning. Meanwhile, Rain who is Kappa from Ryo’s class happens to have feelings for Buchio and decides to seek some advice from an unexpected source. Good to see things somewhat working out during the sport day. Can’t wait to learn more in the coming episodes……. |
3 | 7/10 | Good episode. Good to see Buchio continue to get better during his training. Later as Buchio was walking home with Takumi, they encountered a beast who was getting ready to attack them but fortunately Buchio was able to take form of an archer and scare off the beast. Kinda funny seeing Buchio trying to fool Takumi’s mother by taking form of her son. Later we hear of another disturbance caused by another beast to which the other villagers took care of after a little investigating. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in the coming episode. |
4 | 7/10 | Good episode. It seems like some townspeople has spotted an unusual creature while they were fishing to which they learned it was the dragon god. Kinda funny that seeing him looking awkward and surprised when he met Samoto-san, the Demon King after arriving in Tokyo where he was treated to a meal and was offered a job to work with him. However it seemed that Buchio was reluctant to accept the job offer after breaking the news to his family. I guess he just doesn’t want to be far from his family. Later he met with god where she gave him a warning about working with the Demon King. I wonder what was with that unknown rift that is appearing throughout the town???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
5 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like Buchio got into an argument with Yuri which lead into an unexpected dimension switch between Yuri’s from a parallel world. At first, they didn’t realize what was going on but soon as they saw this Yuri was completely disoriented and confused, they called in the research lab which concluded that their Yuri was in another parallel world. Thankfully they managed to rescue her with the help of their device which enables them to travel to that parallel world. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in next week’s episode…….. |
6 | 7/10 | Good episode. Good to see Yuri apologized to Buchio for her harsh words which lead to that small adventure into another realm. However it seems we have another visitor which turns out to be Yuri’s brother however it seems that she wasn’t pleased to seem him. We learned quite a bit about her past which was quite interesting as she sets off to visit her family home that she left many years ago after that unfortunate event. Will she be able to overcome her past???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
7 | 7/10 | Good episode. Buchio learns a bit more about the upcoming challenges he faces as a Yokai from his newly founded friend, Wagen and his aging partner, Kazuhiko. Quite an interesting story as we journey through Wagen’s life from when he was bought until the point where Kazuhiko lost his wife due to genetic illness which was kinda painful to watch. Lots of valuable life experience learned from Wagen’s experience. We also learned that Yokai typically have a longer lifespan compared to humans therefore it would be interesting to see how Buchio plans to live out his life in the coming episodes……. |
8 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Buchio finally learned what it means to be lonely after going on a trip overseas to help out a friend. This feeling is further exploited when Kazuhiko goes on about the future without his Wagen which made Wagen very upset. Later we learned a bit more about Jiro’s past which involved his previous family which was quite sad to watch seeing them pass on one by one. Can’t wait to learn more in the coming episodes……. |
9 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. In this week’s episode, we learn more about Rain and her condition as a Kappa where the doctor advised a few things that made her felt isolated. It seems like Ryo was trying to apologize to her for something he did in the past but it seems like he couldn’t get the opportunity to do so. However the chance came when he almost drowned whilst helping out a friend retrieve his football that fell into the river without realising that area is unstable. Luckily Jiro managed to rescue them and they both managed to talk things out at the hospital which was quite a heart-warming moment. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in next week’s episode. |
10 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. I feel sorry for Mutsumi. Not only she lost her dad to a shadow but when her dad’s will caused that shadow to transform, he had no memories of his past life. I guess moral of the story is, life is short and we should spend time with our loved ones whenever possible because anything can happen. |
11 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Kinda funny seeing Takumi and Bucchio looking all interested in the scientist who was doing investigation in their town. However Bucchio managed to stopped Takumi who was about to film that person. Good to see that scientist offer them a tour of the Space-Time Laboratory where we saw of them totally intrigued by all the stuff in there. Unfortunately, catastrophe strikes when Bucchio was called away on a business trip as the sky in front of them suddenly opened up. Will he be ok???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
12 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like the sky opening up was the result of the lab’s research and experiment. Unfortunately, for the town’s people they had to contend with demons and oni falling out of the sky and attacking them. Not sure what happened to Wagen-san but I suspect he turned back into a human just like Bucchio or his spirit has left the car. Meanwhile, Jiro and the others was busy protecting the village when one of the demons made it past the barrier and was showing signs of Mitsumi’s father to which was true after her dad’s reincarnated form approached the demon and touched it which briefly showed their dad. Who will be able to save the town and the world???? Can’t wait for next week’s final episode to find out. |
13 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Quite a sad moment seeing every single Yokai dropping in pain and then disappearing all together after the Oni experienced the same thing. Lots of sad moments for everyone which makes you wonder who or what is behind this. However those sad moments didn’t last long as some miracle happened and all the Yokai was back to normal. Soon we learned from the scientists on what happened which seems sketchy at best as no preventive measure was taken to avoid this. Good to see everyone living their lives normally once again. |
Mission: Yozakura Family :
Episode | Score | Comment/Impressions |
1 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like the recent incident where Taiyo loss his entire family has really made him an introvert as evident by him turning down offers from his classmates except Mutsumi. Later he met with the vice principal who later turned out to be her overprotective brother who tries to assassinate him but fortunately was rescued by Futaba who is part of Mutsumi’s family. Kinda funny seeing him freaking out when he met the rest of Mutsumi’s family and eventually learn about why Mutsumi’s brother was acting like that. In the end, he ended up marrying Mutsumi to put an end to her brother’s assassination attempt. Can’t wait to see how will Taiyo adapt to living in with his new family in the coming episodes……. |

Later we see him trying his best to locate the remaining two bombs without realizing that he was just playing into the perpetrator’s hands. Good thing he finally figured it out and got rid of the final bomb that was attached to him and the perpertrator was captured. Looks like another tough day for Taiyo after moving into Yozakura family house where he learns the lifestyle of the Yozakura family which kinda hilarious from picking a lock to enter the bathroom, enduring poison in your meals and many other ridiculous contraptions so that the house would accept him. Luckily he eventually managed to get the hang of it which prompted them to up the difficulty level. Can’t wait to see what else awaits him in next week’s episode. |
4 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. In this week’s instalment we delve a bit into Kengo and Shinzo. First of all Taiyo and Mitsumi ended up playing hide and seek with Kengo after he refused to help Mitsumi with some missing paperwork. In the end, he tried to get Mitsumi to lower her guard by disguising as Taiyo to which she saw through him immediately. Later, Taiyo went out to help Shinzo who was stranded during a mission due to his ammo running out. Luckily they were able to escape with only Taiyo being injured. Who is that person that is after Taiyo???? Can’t wait for later episode to find out. |

It turns out that mysterious person was a detective who helps cover up all of Yozakura’s activities as it was revealed after that Taiyo was taken into police interrogation where he was grilled by that detective. Later, Kyouichirou continued with Taiyo’s training whilst in class which made him even more superhuman as he is now able to move in his sleep while he threw a barrage of attacks at him but left him with sleepwalking side-effect. Soon after, that detective requests for Taiyo’s help in identifying a couple carrying guns at a amusement park to which Mitsumi joined in which really made Kyouichirou jealous. 6 | 7/10 | Good episode. In this week’s instalment, we take a look into another family member of Yozakura’s family, Shion who uses video games to carry out missions in the real world which was quite fascinating. Also later we discovered there was somewhat of data breach where Taiyo’s information was leaked to the dark web by an obsessed stalker, Ayaka which in turn caused by Kyouichirou. Kinda funny seeing her try so hard to win Taiyo even going as far as transferring to his school. When Shion invited Taiyo to help her out on some missions, she became a bit jealous that Taiyo managed to glitch the game to gain an advantage which lead to all night gaming session between Shion and Taiyo. Kinda funny seeing Taiyo completed worn out by the next day. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in next week’s episode. |

Unfortunately, he was completely taken down by Sui which caused somewhat of an embarrassment to Yozakura family. In order to make up for that shortcoming, he decides to tail Sui and their missions which was kinda hilarious. Soon after, he was able to overcome his shortcomings and people forgot about that news. However, all of his previous failed attempts at tagging Sui became the new headlines which was kinda funny. Can’t wait to see what else awaits their family in next week’s episode……… |
8 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Looks like Mitsumi and Taiyo were invited to meet Sui’s boss at their HQ which was disguised behind a cafe. Kinda funny seeing Kyochiro not being found of that idea which lead to a scuffle between Sui’s boss and Kyochiro to which Taiyo ended up taking a hit to stop them. Unfortunately for Taiyo, he was forced to go undercover as a female administrative clerk to investigate a suspicious politician who has been suspected of using shaddy method to climb the ranks as well as plotting his next move. Soon after, Taiyo managed to decipher their plans and managed to put a stop of it only to have his cover blown. Thankfully his friends managed to back him up and arrest the politician. However we soon realised that Deputy Prime Minister was kidnapped during all the chaos earlier and now his capture was being live-streamed across Tokyo. It seems Taiyo was determined to get answers as he managed to track down Kurogao and put a stop to his plans however someone silenced him before he managed to reveal the secrets about his parent’s accident. However Kurogao managed to pass on a note revealing his final wishes as well as where to find the secrets that Taiyo was looking for. Can’t wait to see what will be unveiled in next week’s episode. |

12 | 7/10 | Good episode. We meet up with another member of the Yozakura family however in a more unconventional way as he escaped from prison in order to meet Taiyo and Mitsumi. Kinda funny how he manages to escape everyone’s capture attempt only to be lured in by his wife. Later, the Yozakura family went shopping for supplies at a nearby mall which was kinda funny given what they were buying and how they ended up destroying part of the mall after other spies were after Taiyo due to increased bounty on his head. Soon Taiyo and Mitsumi were undercover at the clinic where Taiyo’s father used to work where he met the directory, Makato Masahita who seems like your average however some damming evidence was found on his computer after Taiyo infiltrated his room at night which revealed why Tanpopo organisation was after the head of the Yozakura family. Unfortunately, Makato managed to escape after a slight confrontation. Now that it was confirmed that Makato was part of this Tanpopo organisation, what will Taiyo do next???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |

2 | 7/10 | Good episode. It turns out my suspicion was correct as the Sharon that suddenly appeared at Bocchan’s house was indeed a clone. I wonder what is the motive behind this. Meanwhile, its kind of funny seeing how the rest reacted to Sharon’s appearance out of nowhere alongside the creature that came out her and materialize into my ghostly creature. Can’t wait to learn more in the coming episodes…………….. |
3 | 7/10 | Good episode. It seems like Bocchan has caught a cold which prompted some hilarious moments between him and Alice as she tries to help him recover faster. Meanwhile, Walter headed to town while disguised as a women which fooled a lot of men including Zain which was quite funny. We also see Sade trying her best to follow everything in that book in order to be with Walter. Can’t wait to see what else awaits await them in next week’s episode………. |
4 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. A mysterious person named Liz suddenly showed up at Bocchan’s mansion along with another mysterious. After sitting down and having a quick chat, we learned that they were related to Bocchan. Later we learned that Liz’s husband had formed a contract with Sade so that both Liz and her husband can travel the world together as ghosts which seemed odd. However they weren’t aware that due to their actions Sade ended up cursing Bocchan as a side-effect. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in the coming episode……. |
5 | 7/10 | Good episode. It seems like Spring has come around and Bocchan must update his mother in regards to the quest to get rid of his curse. However upon arriving at the parent’s, it seemed quite busy as everyone is preparing to for an upcoming ball. Unfortunately, Bocchan was unable to meet his mom as she was preoccupied with a visitor. Later we meet up with Sharon who will officially start working at the family house. Can’t wait to see how the upcoming ball event plays out in next week’s episode. |
6 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see Walter and Sade finally dancing together although not in the ball room at first because Sade was a bit shy as she was not human. Also, Viola was a bit nervous at the beginning of the party until Bocchan stepped in and helped her get started. Good to see everyone enjoying themselves and what was more surprising was when Bocchan has a conversation with his mother and the outcome was somewhat unexpected. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in next week’s episode. |
7 | 7/10 | Good episode. Good to see everyone spending time with each other before the day where they will go back in time to take on Sade. Kindly funny seeing the ladies having their moments together with all kinds of activity. Later we see Bocchan also spending the last moments with Alice and Robert which was kinda heart-warming to work. Can’t wait to see the final battle against Sade in next week’s episode. |
8 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Not sure whether to call this a full out battle or just some negotiation that is difficult to overcome. It seems like Sade will not budge until Zain gives her his time travelling to which he outright refuses. Later she unleashes Daleth from the time period they were in to which Walter decides to take her on by enduring all of her illusions where he did pretty well. Will they be able to convince Sade to break Bocchan’s curse???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
9 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. After a couple rounds of back and forth, Zain was not able to convince Sade to come quietly to the future and break Bocchan’s curse which lead to him being mercilessly being attacked by Sade. Soon after, reinforcements come in to confront Sade however its a long and uphill battle. Later, Bocchan was able to get close to Sade however she kept pushing him away. It seems like her past grudge is quite strong as she suddenly some unknown mysterious power. Will they be able to stop her???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
10 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like Sade refuses to listen to Bocchan and suddenly unleashes a barrage of attacks at everyone. After many attempts, they finally managed to put a stop to the attacks with help from Alice. However it seems Nico is determined to kill Sade after she refuses to lift their curses to which he was stopped by Bocchan as that is not was agreed between them. Can’t wait to see what happens in next week’s episode. |
11 | 9/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see them put a stop to Sade rampage. After a bit of back and forth, she finally lifted the curse on Bocchan and Nico before returning to the present time. Unfortunately, Bocchan and Alice’s relationship took an unexpected turn when Alice suddenly resigned from being his maid at the mansion which broke his heart. Quite a heartwarming moment when Bocchan went after Alice to express his love for her. Can’t wait to see what happens in next week’s final episode……….. |
12 | 9/10 | Awesome episode. So happy for Alice and Bocchan as they finally got married in the end. Loving the remix of 1st Season OP song at end. It really gives that feeling that we have finally come full circle but also sad since the series has finally come to an end. Congrats to Alice and Bocchan as well as to Walter and Daleth………… |
Vampire Dormitory :
Episode | Score | Comment/Impressions |
1 | 7/10 | Good episode. Not sure how to put this but this probably one of the most strangest shows I have seen so far. Not sure why Mito’s relatives don’t want to take her in after both her parents died. Good to see Ruka coming along and offering her a place to stay in exchange for a favour. Now that Mito has accepted the offer, how will she hide her true gender after Ruka mistakes her for a male due to her disguise???? Can’t wait for later episodes to find out. |
2 | 7/10 | Good episode. It seems like Ruka still isn’t aware of Mito’s true gender as they both went to school the following day and Mito attracted a lot of attention as she enters the classroom. Meanwhile, it seems like one of Ruka’s classmate, Ren is aware that Ruka’s a vampire and tries to warn Mito but instead got an earful. It seems we may have a love triangle on her hand. I wonder how long Mito can keep her true gender a secret???? Can’t wait for later episodes to find out………… |
3 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see Mito and Ruka’s friends go on a camping trip however their enjoyment was somewhat undercut when they noticed that Ren tagged along as well. It seems like Ren is still worried about Mito becoming a vampire however Mito reassures him that “he” won’t become a vampire. Also it seems Mito is having a slightly difficult time keeping “his” true gender a secret where Ren almost found out while she was bathing. Kinda strange that Ruka had such restriction imposed on him as a condition to inherit a position. Can’t wait to see how this plays out in the coming episode…….. |
4 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like Ruka is acting strange after their camp trip. We soon learned that Ruka is only allowed to fall in love with his destined partner otherwise he will lose his chance of inheriting the position. Kinda funny seeing Mito trying so hard to get Ruka’s attention only for him to ask her to get a girlfriend. Later both Ren, Ruka and Mito ended up going a mixer where Mito was the first to be asked out. Kinda funny seeing those two following Mito and watching anxiously. I wonder what’s up with Ren at the end? What does mean by asking Mito to stay away from him otherwise he’s going to come out???? Could it be that Ren has an alternate personality???? I guess we will only find out in next week’s episode……… |
5 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. As I suspected, Ren was a vampire as well although he was a half-vampire unlike Ruka and his friends. Unfortunately a bit of misunderstanding between Ruka and Mito has resulted in Mito running away from him and out into the city by herself. Luckily Mito was saved by Ren when she was confronted by some ill-intention people. Unfortunately, the misunderstanding between Mito and Ruka got even worse when Mito slept with Ren for the night. Will Mito be able to fix their relationship???? Will Mito’s true gender be known to the others???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
6 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like both Ruka and Mito felt guilty for making each other feel bad and thus both were trying to find a way to make up for each other especially after Ruka’s friends decide to take Mito on a trip to the beach while waiting for the tension to calm down. Unfortunately Mito’s absence had caused Ruka to experience the same condition as Ren which triggered after meeting up with Maina. Glad to see they both made up afterwards however it seemed Ren is not giving up on having Mito all to himself. Can’t wait to see how this plays out in the coming episodes…….. |
7 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like things are getting a bit more dangerous as some of Ruka’s cohorts have paid him a visit which did not end well for them. Looks like Mito’s luck finally ran out as Ren discovered that Mito is a girl after saving Mito from the attack. I wonder how will Ren respond to this???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out……….. |
8 | 9/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like Ren was somewhat glad he discovered that Mito is a girl and wastes no time in taking advantage of that while Ruka was at his home dealing with a leadership crisis issue where an elder revealed who is his destined partner which turns out to be Mito. Kinda funny that Ruka didn’t realize this even though he was drinking Mito’s blood the entire time even though when he ran into her as predicted by the elder. It seems we now have a love triangle going on between Mito, Ren and Ruka. Will Ruka ever realize Mito’s true gender???? I’m willing to bet that Komori already knew Mito’s true gender from the start and prefers to let Ruka figure it out for himself. I guess we will find out in the later episodes…….. |
9 | 9/10 | Awesome episode. OMG!!!!!!!! This love triangle is getting more complicated. The part at the end when Mito realises that she turned into a male probably came from when Ren drank her blood earlier along with his wish that he will love Mito regardless whether Mito is man or women. So now I guess Mito doesn’t have to worry about keeping that secret from Ruka anymore. I wonder how this will play out in the coming episodes????? |
10 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. My hunch was right as it was Ren’s doing that turned Mito into a male. After Mito confronts him, he refuses to undo it saying that its so that Ruka can never have Mito. Mito tries her best to get Ruka to see her true self however was unsuccessful. It seems like Ren’s family has a grudge against Ruka’s family for the throne hence the reason why both of them are after Mito even going as far as disguising as Mito’s true self to trick Ruka. Unfortunately, Ruka wasn’t able to see this thus the real Mito ended up falling into the river. Can’t wait to see how this plays out in next week’s episode. |
11 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems Mito is really heart broken after Ruka failed to see her real self. Luckily she was saved by the founder and was brought to Ren where she just wants to forget about Ruka which Ren promptly granted her wish. Ruka finally realized the fake Mito(Miko) as they were on the way to the palace and rushes over to get Mito only to be somewhat heart broken when Mito doesn’t remember him at all and begs at Ren to be near her. It seems like Ren played right into his family’s hand after his dad revealed the entire plan to him. So basically both Ren and Ruka have hurt Mito in someway for their own benefit, I wonder how both of them will fix this???? Can’t wait for next week’s final episode to find out…….. |
12 | 9/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see Mito realising her true feelings for Ruka after he gifted her that sang sucre. Kinda feel sorry for Ren after realising he was being used by his father in order to become the next leader of the vampires therefore lost his chance to marry Mito. When Ruka realized Mito’s true gender, he was overjoyed which means Mito could have revealed her true gender sooner but I guess she overwhelmed that Ruka might reject her true self. So now Ruka has to protect Mito until the day of their marriage since the founder is leaving them to prepare for the wedding ceremony. I guess the competition is heating up as Ruka seems to recognize their new classmate that just transferred. Hopefully there will be another season to continue the story………. |
Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 2nd Cour :
Episode | Score | Comment/Impressions |
13 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see Rudeus going ahead with his plan to marry Slyphy. Cliff suggested that he should get a house to which Rudeus really went all out although there was little snag as the house was supposedly haunted. After a little digging, it turns out to be a robot that was part of some research to which Zanoba offered to take in the robot. So happy seeing Rudeus and Slphy. Can’t wait to see how their wedding preparations turn out in next week’s episode. |
14 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see Rudeus and Slyphy finally married and they threw a party to celebrate the occasion. Kinda odd seeing Luke challenging Rudeus to a duel using swords before heading home to which Rudeus refused at first however he finally gave in after a bit of coaxing. Luckily he won that duel which I guess was some kind of assurance for Luke that Slyphy will be in good hands. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in the coming episodes……. |
15 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see Rudeus and his friends helping out Nanahoshi after she lost all hope due to her failed experiments. So good to see Ruijerd again after parting ways a while back. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in next week’s episode…….. |
16 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Glad to see Rudeus meeting up with Ruijerd who accompanied Norn and Aisha to his house. At first, it seemed those two were getting along however when they started to talk about those two attending school, things started to get a bit conflicted especially with Norn. After some coaxing, Norn finally accepted but she wanted to live in the dorms. However it seemed things didn’t get much better as she was always by herself which made him worry. Kinda funny seeing Rudeus almost got in trouble when his classmates gave him something questionable to cheer him up. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them all in the coming episodes……. |
17 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see Rudeus managed sort things out with Norn while reflecting on his past life where he had done the same to this older brother. At the very least, Norn is no longer holed up in her dorm room and talking to others once again. Quite an emotional moment indeed. |
18 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like Rudeus was undecided on how to proceed after receiving a shocking letter that his father was in danger and needs help. Unfortunately, the decision making became more tougher when he learned that Slyphy was pregnant along with the advise given by “god” who warned that he would regret it if he proceeded to head to that area to help his dad. After so much thinking and a little push from Norn, he finally decides to go and rescue his dad. Can’t wait to see his new journey beginning in next week’s episode. |
19 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see everyone helping Rudeus out before he and Elinalise head on a journey to rescue Rudeus’s dad who is stranded in a labyrinth in a desert especially Nanahoshi who unveiled some transportation circles which shorten their journey. After enduring the extreme hot weather and enemies, they finally made it to their destination. Will they be able to make it back in time before Slyphy gives birth???? Can’t wait for later episodes to find out…….. |
20 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see Rudeus finally reuniting with his dad although he was somewhat distraught after learning the current situation. Thankfully Elinalise was there to keep him together as they prepare to venture into the labyrinth after he shared with them the book regarding it. The labyrinth seems quite dangerous as somebody can be warped elsewhere if they stepped on the transportation portal by accident. Soon Rudeus was able to sense Roxy’s presence and hurried to rescue her from the hoard of monsters that surrounded her. Kinda of heart-warming moment seeing those two reunite again. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in next week’s episode. |
21 | 7/10 | Good episode. Kinda sad seeing Rudeus feeling heart broken when Roxy didn’t recognise him at first. However we soon learned that she did know Rudeus just that his appearance has matured so much that didn’t recognise at first. After rescuing her and a bit of resting back at home base, they were back to tackling the labyrinth. Soon they reached the point where the book provided no details on how to move onwards. However the room does look a lot like those ruins we saw earlier which prompted Rudeus to look for a hollow noise in the floor to which he blasted it open revealing the true teleportation portal. What will they find as they go deeper into the labyrinth???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
22 | 9/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like Rudeus’s mum was trapped inside the Hyrdra monster. Unfortunately, none of their magic attacks are working on the monster forcing them to retreat. Quite a heart-breaking moment when Rudeus’s dad was killed after saving Rudeus from the monster’s attacks. This was made even sadder when Rudeus’s mom had no memories of Rudeus after being rescued. I wonder what happened to Rudeus’s mom before she ended up in that monster???? How will be able break the story to his siblings???? Can’t wait for next week’s final episode to find out. |
23 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see Roxy was able to cheer Rudeus up however it seems he feels compelled to return Roxy’s feelings. I’m surprised Elinalise suggested polygamy to Rudeus. Let’s see what Sylphy has to say about that in next week’s final episode………….. |
24 | 9/10 | Awesome episode. Quite a sad moment when Rudeus broke the news of their father’s death to the rest of his family members. Honestly, I was shocked that one of his siblings actually questioned him whether he did all he could to save him. Also there was a slight conflict when Rudeus seeks permission from Sylphy to have Roxy as his 2nd wife which is basically polygamy to which Sylphy accepted. Such a heart-warming moment when Sylphy finally gave birth to Rudeus’s first child to which he named her, Lucie. Can’t wait to see their journey continue in next season. |

Episode | Score | Comment/Impressions |
1 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see there are some people who are supportive of Masaki and Hiromu despite their relationship is despise on by certain quarters. I’m surprised to see their baby, Hikari somewhat talking and reacting to almost everything. It seems one of the neighbours is uncomfortable with their presence. Can’t wait to see how this plays out in next week’s episode…….. |
2 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. We meet another neighbour named Yuki who seems to be anti-social and self-isolating. However things slowly started to change once he started interacting with Hikari which was kinda of heart-warming to watch. Kinda funny seeing him blush whenever Masaki points out his good points. The real challenge was when Yuki had to take care of Hikari when Masaki suddenly fell ill which includes cooking after learning that Hiroumi never cooked in his life. However it seems Hikari realises what was happening and got really upset. Luckily, Hiromu managed to calm him down in the end. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in the coming episode…….. |
3 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. We learned a bit more about Hiroumi’s father and how he suddenly showed up as Masaki was walking home. It seems that he was bullying them as evident by Hikari’s reaction which was kinda funny. However we soon learn the truth during one of his other visits where Hikari tries to be the hero which lead to him realizing his actions and accepting Hiromu’s relationship with Masaki. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in next week’s episode…….. |
4 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see everyone getting ready for welcome their 2nd child. However it seems Masaki was a bit worried that the newborn might be an omega which in turn might experience the same bad times as him. Good to see Hiromu picking up on it and comforting Masaki at that moment which was quite heart warming to watch. After Masaki delivered their newborn baby, they played hide and seek at Hiromu’s family house so that Masaki can feel a bit more comfortable moving in. Good to see that Hiromu’s plan working as expected as Masaki was overcoming his bad memories of the place. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in the next week’s episode. |
5 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see Hikari trying his best to be a good big brother for Hinata although it does seem he is trying a bit too hard. Later, they got invited to visit Hiromu’s parents house to which Hiromu was not pleased. However it seems Hiromu’s parents were becoming more receptive of their relationships as evident when Hiromu’s mother gifted Masaki one of her Kimono. Suddenly, Masaki got an email from his parents to invite the family to visit them. Can’t wait to see how that turns out in next week’s episode……… |
6 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like Masaki is a bit reluctant to visit his family especially when it reminds of his past. However with a little encouragement from Hiromu, they finally get going while bringing their friends along. However things started to get tense when they ran into Masaki’s cousin, Kazuhiko who was quite hostile towards Masaki throughout their say. Fortunately, Hiromu was able to back Masaki up and call him out on his behaviour towards Masaki. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in next week’s episode. |
7 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see Hiromu was able to console Masaki after that unfortunate incident. Soon after that Kazuhiko apologises for his actions and allowed Masaki to read the letter from his parents. Later they visit Masaki’s family grave to pay their respects before heading on home. Kinda funny seeing Hikari trying to carry out errands by himself under the watch of Hiromu while Masaki was visiting the hospital. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in next week’s episode. |
8 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see Hikari trying to overcome his past fear of dogs with the help of their new neighbour. Quite heartwarming to watch once he did overcome those fears. Later we are back at Masaki’s family house where we finally met with his father who was happy with Masaki and Hiromu’s relationship despite what Masaki initially thought. Later, Hikari ran into someone whilst playing at the nearby park. I wonder who could it be???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
9 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It turns out the new kid, Michiru and his father, Mochizuki recently moved into the area. Kinda funny seeing Hikari unintentionally teasing Michiru’s hair looking a tomato sprout. Also we learned that Masaki and Mochizuki share a lot in common after they sat down together. Kinda funny seeing Hiromu being a bit envious when Masaki offered to take care of Michiru while his father was at work. Thankfully their family just got along well in a short period of time. Now we are introduced to more characters during Halloween as they make their surprise entrance. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in next week’s episode……. |
10 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It turns out that the two twins that came to visit was actually Matsuo’s younger twin brothers Yuto and Shuto. Kinda funny seeing them interrogate Yuki in regards to his relationship with their older brother which kinda moved him. Later at night, he finally got his answer after peeking at Masaki and Hiromu making out with each other to which he promptly asks Matsuo to sleep with him. Can’t wait to see what happens in next week’s episode. |
11 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Kinda funny seeing Yuki and Matsuo sharing unusual expressions at each other last night. However it seems like Yuki’s emotion did not get across to Matsuo. Later Mochizuki manages to meet up with Masaki’s husband, Hiromu which almost triggered an argument due to their difference. Will Masaki be able to resolve the issue???? Can’t wait for next week’s final episode. |
12 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see Masaki was able to resolve the issue between Mochizuki and their family after having a talk with Hiromu. I think the biggest help was when Hikari stepped in and expressed his own feelings which was cute and heart-warming to watch. Anyways, it was nice to see them all get together to enjoy a Christmas dinner as well as decorating the Christmas tree. Hopefully their relationships will continue until the end of time………. |
Unnamed Memory :
Episode | Score | Comment/Impressions |
1 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like Prince Oscar would do almost anything to get the curse lifted. What was the motive behind the witch that cursed him and his father during his childhood???? Luckily he was able to convince the Witch of the Azure Moon to come back to the castle with him in order to find a way to break the curse. Can’t wait to see how this plays out in the coming episodes……. |
2 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like Tinasha is fitting in just fine with the others at the castle. However it seems some unusual surge in magical power from the neighbouring country has prompted her to investigate. Unfortunately, they were not able to find anything at first until her past enemy appeared right in front of her. Kinda cool seeing her take on the enemy as well as the sealed monster all by herself despite repeated requests from the prince to help her. Who could be the main culprit???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
3 | 7/10 | Good episode. Looks like Oscar and Lazar are out investigating mysterious death where they ran into a plant which spits out poison. Unfortunately, Lazar was hit with the poison resulting in him passing out. Luckily they ran into the Witch of the Forbidden Forest who treated Lazar but at the same time inflicted a curse on Oscar during their conversation. Kinda funny seeing Oscar getting scolded by Tinasha after she discovered curse to which she promptly help remove it. Not sure if they resolved the issue they were initially out to investigate. Can’t wait for later episodes to find out. |
4 | 7/10 | Good episode. It seems like Tinasha’s presence at castle has caught the attention of someone else from another kingdom as evident by the sudden envoy that showed up at the castle. The representative from the envoy tries to convince Tinasha to serve their kingdom however she outright refused which caused a bit of tension which was quickly defused. Later, Tinasha and Oscar ended up training in the tower together until Oscar was worn out. Kinda funny that Oscar ended up as an opponent for the tower’s challengers on behalf of Tinasha. I wonder if Tinasha has figured out on how to get rid of Oscar’s curse???? Can’t wait for later episodes to find out. |
5 | 7/10 | Good episode. It seems like Tinasha is trying to divert attention away from herself by finding a bride for Oscar even though she knew that will never work. Unfortunately, it caused more harm as apparently the person that was proposed, Miralys had a more sinister motive which resulted in a full battle. Luckily they were able to put a stop to Miralys’s plans however they were unable to to question her further due to unforeseen circumstances. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them as their bond continues to get stronger………. |
6 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like Tinasha has managed to break the curse on Oscar. However before they were able to celebrate, Lanka appeared and took her away which left him in shock and disbelief. Not long after that, there were reports of attacks from all of the kingdoms right after we learned more about Tinasha and her past which lead to Oscar to gather up his troops to put a stop to this. Will he be successful???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
7 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. At first it would seem that Tinasha has turned against the kingdom as well as the neighbouring ones however it was all a ruse so that she can get Lanak to unlock the gates at all the lakes and release on her trapped comrades. Good to see them being able to defeat Lanak and his cronies with the help from Oscar and the neighbouring kingdoms. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in the coming episodes…… |
8 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Looks like Oscar and his men are on another trip to the border of Farsas where he ran into a gang in which he was challenged to duel by its leader. Unfortunately, this ended up becoming an all out rescue mission as the place where they battled hide a secret as evident by the mysterious events that took place during their battle. Luckily Oscar and Tinasha managed to take care of the situation although Tinasha did end up injured a bit. Can’t wait to see the relationship continue to grow in the coming episode……….. |
9 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see everyone finally able to take a breather after all that has happened so far. Unfortunately, the peace didn’t last very long as the kingdom is once again disturbed by another unexpected event which prompted the army to take action. However it was all a distraction so that they can kill Oscar as evident when he was attacked by an unknown mage with some kind of poison needle attack. Later Tinasha decides to help remove the poison by sacrificing herself as well as altering Oscar’s memory however that didn’t really help due to Oscar’s love for Tinasha as he immediately tried to save Tinasha. Luckily both of them managed to pull through. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in next week’s episode…….. |
10 | 7/10 | Good episode. It seems like Tinasha had some unexpected visitors at her tower where she refused them entry to her tower. Meanwhile, Oscar discusses about their marriage to which Tinasha had mixed feelings and wanted to think about it more. Soon we learned her reason for not wanting to marry Oscar as she was worried about the child born from their marriage however Oscar assures her that his father is ok with it. We also learned that Oscar’s true power was sealed away which kinda makes me wonder why it was sealed in the first place. Unfortunately, the kingdom was once again attacked but this time, they were able to capture the perpetrator and figure out the person behind the attacks. What will they do next???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
11 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see them come up with a plan to lure out the perpetrator which lead to an all out battle for Tinasha and Oscar. Kinda awesome seeing them fight together where they eventually defeated the enemy and peace was restored. Quite a happy moment seeing Tinasha finally accepting Oscar’s marriage proposal thus she is now officially married to Oscar. Can’t wait to see what happens in next week’s final episode. |
12 | 9/10 | Awesome episode. Unfortunately, their marriage didn’t last long as Oscar was transported back in time after accidentally touching the blue orb that he found while he was helping Tinasha clean her place. From there, he met with the younger Tinasha who at first didn’t believe what he had to say but eventually was convinced after he explained himself. Quite a sad moment when Oscar disappeared after using the blue orb found in the past to save Tinasha from the man that was about to make her a sacrifice thus changing the entire future before her very eyes. Can’t wait to see what they will bring for next season…….. |
Oblivion Battery :
Episode | Score | Comment/Impressions |
1 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Quite an interesting start. Reminds me of another show from MAPPA, RE-MAIN where amnesia played a big part in that show. I wonder what incident would have caused Kei’s amnesia????? How will Kei recover from his amnesia???? Can’t wait for later episodes to find out…….. |
2 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see there was a slight progress with Kei despite his refusal to join the baseball team. We are still not sure on what exactly caused Kei’s amnesia. Will they be able to convince Aoi and Shunpei to join team???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out……………… |
3 | 7/10 | Good episode. It seems like they managed to convince Aoi and Shunpei to join the baseball after Kei invited them over to his house to which they saw some of his prized possessions. I’m still annoyed that there is still no backstory for Kei’s amnesia. Later they head over to Teitoku High for a practice to which almost all of them have some form of regrets as they all received some offer/scholarship in the past. Kinda funny seeing the team manager for Teitoku High freaking out once the practice game gets underway. Will they be able to hold out throughout the practice game???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
4 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Unfortunately things didn’t play out that well during their practice match as their newly formed team continued to struggle against Teitoku High even though they seemed to be doing ok at first. Kinda feel sad for Kei as he is making every rookie mistake while unable to unveil his true self throughout the match. Will he ever recover from his amnesia and perform at his best???? I guess only time will tell in the coming episodes……… |
5 | 7/10 | Good episode. Good to see some progress for Kei even though its a quite minor. Also, its great that the rest have decided to stick to playing baseball at Kotesashi High School and continue to help Kei out instead of taking up on the offer from Teitoku’s manager. I can tell this is going to be a long and winding journey before everyone is at their full potential. Will he ever recover from his amnesia???? Only time will tell……… |
6 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see Kei taking baseball more seriously now after losing to Teitoku. However while learning baseball tactics at Todo’s place, we learned a bit more about Todo and his reasons for quitting baseball in the first place which was quite heart-breaking to watch. Hopefully by picking up baseball again at a no-name public school, he will be able to overcome his current limitation. Can’t wait to see them continue to grow in the coming episodes……… |
7 | 7/10 | Good episode. It seems Todo is not confident in overcoming his limitation which prompted a little pep talk from Kei which somewhat motivates him. Kinda funny seeing them practice although I’m kinda worried that they might not make it that far without a coach. Later, Todo meets an old friend at the batting range where what he said somewhat hits him hard. Can’t wait to see what happens in next week’s episode. |
8 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like Kei is somewhat a bit lazy during practice and playing mobile games especially when its crucial for him to improve his skill. Kinda funny seeing him run off after they tried to up is practice regime. That is where he meets Kazuki who likes baseball but only in video games which prompted Kei to invite him to join the baseball team however he ran off he saw the other members. Soon we learned why he hates baseball as he had his own bad experience. However with a bit of coaxing from everyone on the team, he eventually discovered his strength and joined the team. Can’t wait to see how this plays out in the coming episode……. |
9 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Since the team was aware of Kei’s amnesia, they tried various methods to try get Kei to regain his memories. Some of methods were outright ridiculous, however the hypnosis method was something unexpected which didn’t seem to work at first. However when Kei came in for practice the following morning, his aura was different and soon they learned that he was back to his old self which shocked everyone. Not sure but I think there might be a catch since it involves hypnosis and with another practice game coming up let’s see how it plays out in next week’s episode………. |
10 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Looks like their practice match went off without much of a problem. However partway through the match, there were some signs that the other Kei was surfacing as per his headache and unusual gestures. Unfortunately, Kei reverted back to his old goofy self part way through the match which left the team gobsmacked. I guess that hypnosis thing was only temporary. Can’t wait to see how they will deal with it in next week’s episode. |
11 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. We now turn our attention to Shunpei who seems to be out of it. As it turns out he is still trying to overcome the wall despite running away from it previously. After a little bit of encouragement from Kei, he seems to able to slowly overcome it. Now its up to Kei to face off against Shunpei’s former teammates. Can’t wait to see how this plays out in next week’s final episode……. |
12 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see Kei finally able to land a hit allowing Shunpei to complete the Home Run thus allowing Kotesashi High School to eventually win the tournament despite not being his commander self. Later we learned the final piece of Kei’s past with Haruka where they both enjoyed themselves. It seems like Kei never returned back to becoming his former commander self but instead decides to push ahead with improving his current self which surprised everyone. So I guess its up to Haruka and and the rest of the team to continue to guide Kei in becoming the best baseball player. |
The New Gate :
Episode | Score | Comment/Impressions |
1 | 7/10 | Good episode. It seems like another SAO but with a slightly different context where Shinya just cleared the game where they were unable to log out initially. However just as he was about to logout, a gate opened and he was dragged into another world. I’m surprised Shinya didn’t feel much despair with his predicament and he was able to adapt to the situation quite well. Now that he has obtained a guild card, can’t wait to see what adventures await him in next week’s episode……… |
2 | 7/10 | Good episode. It seems like Shinya was not aware of what he had done until he walked into town and asked around. Good to see he was able to keep his little battle a secret from the others. Later, he met a little girl who whispered something about a fox that needs saving. Soon we learned the true nature of the situation and Shinya manages to save that fox whom decided to join him on his journey. Looks like we might be meeting more of Shinya’s comrades in next week’s episode……. |
3 | 7/10 | Good episode. It seems like the little girl who told him to save the fox has some special ability where she can foresee an upcoming event. Soon we learned that little girl was from a nearby orphanage attached to a church. After Shin dropped by, we learned the true state of the church and the orphanage to which he agreed to help them out. Good to see they made some progress on her training. Can’t wait to see what awaits them in next week’s episode. |
4 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It looks like Shin and his friends are up against quite a formidable enemy who seems to be summoning more monsters. Shin makes the difficult decision to have Wilhelm escape with the girl they were helping out. Soon Shin’s old companion came in to the rescue and they were both able to defeat the enemy. Kinda funny seeing Wilhelm’s reaction after Shin returned from battle as he was still heading back to town. It seems like the officials from the castle are one step closer to identifying Shin as he accidentally left behind his sword after the battle. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in next week’s episode. |
5 | 7/10 | Good episode. Kinda funny seeing Shin having to explain himself after Wilhelm began questioning his unusual abilities. Later he finally unveiled himself to that person in the shop that he was actually the owner. Soon after resting for the night, they were already planning to visit another one of Shin’s ally in another kingdom and plan to bring their shop along with them. What other secrets of this new world will be unveiled during their journey???? Can’t wait for later episodes to find out. |
6 | 7/10 | Good episode. Good to see Shin helping Tierra gain experience as an adventurer by taking on an escort mission. Kinda funny seeing Tierra trying to express herself to Shin however it seemingly when unnoticed. Not sure why but I do feel like they are bit over-qualified for the mission as they were easily able to take out the bandits that interfered with the escort. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in next week’s episode……. |
7 | 7/10 | Good episode. Good to see they managed to complete the escort quest which may prove helpful later on as we learned a bit more about the Church HQ. Later Shin decided that to continue their journey, it would be best to have their own wagon to which Schnee offered to find a monster to pull it where she went a bit overboard when she returned with a sacred beast which so happens to be the monster Tierra rescued back then. Kinda funny seeing the reactions of passer-by’s when they saw the beast pulling the wagon. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them after they arrived at their destination in next week’s episode…….. |
8 | 9/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like the visit to Farnid Beast Alliance was so that Shin can meet up with his former friend, Girart. However during their visit, Girart asks something unusual from him as a final wish before he passes on. After making preparations for the final showdown, the battle gets underway with both Shin and Girart giving it their all until the very end. Quite a sad moment when Shin had to deliver the final blow after Girart managed to accomplish his goal which was to make his fangs reach Shin. Good to see Schnee comforting him after Girart’s funeral. Can’t wait to see their journey continue in next week’s episode……… |
9 | 7/10 | Good episode. After settling a few things as well as meeting up with a few former party members, Shin decides to take on some quests to level up his adventurer rank. However he was summoned by the princess of Bayrelicht to which he immediately recalled what he almost caused during his battle with Skullface. Thankfully the princess didn’t punish him for that but instead wanted to have duel with him. I wonder what was that mysterious shadow that infiltrated the palace???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
10 | 7/10 | Good episode. Good to see the battle between Shin and the princess didn’t last very long as she was willing overlook that incident from earlier episode where the sword went crashing into her room after Shin defeated Skullface. However upon returning back to the palace, they noticed that the person we saw possessed by the shadow forced the two of them to teleport somewhere far from the palace. Good thing Shin was able to inform Schnee to investigate. Will Shin be able to escort the princess back to Palace safely???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
11 | 7/10 | Good episode. It seems like the town ruins they were in was actually a dungeon. Unfortunately, we still don’t know who teleported them as well as who created that dungeon however I suspect it is the same person. Kinda funny seeing Shin trying so hard to hide his full power from the Princess. Good to see he managed to clear the dungeon and escape with the princess. However, their little victory was cut short when they noticed a horde of enemies heading towards the nearby town. Will they be able to stop them???? Can’t wait for next week’s final episode to find out. |
12 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see Shin making most of the arrangements as well as offering to help out in the upcoming battle against the blood. An unexpected with his friend’s follower revealed that Schnee failed to mentioned something to which we learned the reason after the battle. I’m surprised he wasn’t possessed by that cursed weapon he used to take out all the enemies including the boss. Kinda funny seeing the reaction of the attendees seeing Shin accompanied by two ladies as they walked into the room. After learning that there were other people like Shin existing in this world, he sets out with his friends to find them. Let’s see if they will continue the story with another season. |
My Hero Academia Season 7 :
Episode | Score | Comment/Impressions |
Recap 1-4 | 7/10 | N/A |
1 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see Japan getting some help from Star and Stripe who flew from her homebase in the US. Unfortunately, Shigaraki was already waiting for her mid-flight. Despite her best attempts to deal damage to Shigaraki, it seems like he was able regenerate. Now she unveils her ultimate attack but will that be sufficient to defeat Shigaraki???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out…….. |
2 | 9/10 | Awesome episode. Unfortunately, Star was not able to completely stop Shigaraki as he already knew her plan of attack. However, as he was trying to steal her quirk, his body started exploding in many areas due to another rule created by Star just before he made contact with her which is also destroying all the quirks that he has collected so far. Quite a heart-breaking moment seeing Star just disintegrate into nothingness. Now that Shigaraki is in hiding as seems severely weakened as well as other countries pulling back assistance for Japan out of fear, it is up to Class 1-A to get stronger before facing off against Shigaraki and his cronies. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in next week’s episode. |
3 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see everyone training in preparation for their attack on Shigaraki and as well as the other villains. However Aoyama suddenly showed up with his parents and confessed that he was the inside person leaking information to All for One. However when the school realized this, they decided to keep Aoyama and his parents locked up as a precaution given the seriousness of their current situation however Deku and his classmates strongly disagree. I wonder what will be the outcome from this???? Can’t wait for later episodes to find out…….. |
4 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see their homeroom teacher, Aizawa taking over the issue involving Aoyama while the others went back to training for their upcoming battle against the league of villains. Good to see everyone so determined to accept Aoyama as part of their team despite what he has done in the past. It seems like Aizawa has faith that Aoyama will be fine with his class in the upcoming operation. Can’t wait to see how this plays out in next week’s episode. |
5 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Looks like everyone is getting ready for the upcoming battle as the heroes have been relocated to nearby facility which means leaving behind their loved ones at UA. Kinda heart-warming moment seeing all of them saying their goodbyes to their loved ones before heading out. Suddenly, Aoyama asks to meet Deku at some location where it appeared that he is betraying him but in fact Aoyama luring out the enemy. Now that both heroes and villains are here, who will emerge victorious???? Can’t wait for later episodes to find out as this will be one heck of a battle. |
6 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. The battle has begun and everyone has their goals to accomplish in order to bring down the League of Villains once and for all. However things started to go wrong when Toga pulled Deku into another portal as the heroes were being transported to their respective battle location. This has resulted in the team battling Shigaraki being at a huge disadvantage due to Deku’s absences. However, they continued to battle Shigaraki with all their might. Unfortunately, it seems Shigaraki has something else up his sleeve. Will they be able to hold out???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
7 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like Toga is really obsessed with Deku and Ochako as their battle progressed. Meanwhile, the battle against Shigaraki isn’t going very well as they are still unable to come up with counter for Shigaraki’s attacks and they are also too busy to help warp Deku. Luckily Asui was able to join them thus allowing Deku to head to his original warp location. Will he make it in time? It seems Dabi has something to reveal to Todoroki. I wonder what that could be???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out………… |
8 | 9/10 | Awesome episode. That final attack from Todoroki was not only awesome but a beautiful sight to behold. Good to see that attack he was practicing for a while was able stop Dabi in his tracks. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them all in next week’s episode…… |
9 | 9/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see that Todoroki’s victory against Dabi brought a lot of positive encouragement for the rest of the heroes who are facing battles of their own. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for his father who is facing off against All for One along with Hawks. It seems like they were struggling to inflict damage on All for One so much so that Endeavor was severely injured and could not fight on. Good to see Jirou and Fumikage try to assist the Hawks and Endeavor however they were no match for All for One’s attacks. Will they be able to turn this around???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 4: Hashira Training Arc :
Episode | Score | Comment/Impressions |
1 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see everyone training hard for an upcoming demon battle as well as gathering allies which includes Lady Tamayo. However during the Hashira meeting, Muchirou and Mitsuri were asked about the mark during their battle back at the village as it was similar to mark on Tanjiro. After some discussion, they came up with Hashira training where everyone will take turns training with each Hashira member however it seems Giyu refuses to participate. I wonder why???? I guess we will find out in later episodes……… |
2 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. After Tanjiro pays Giyu a visit and tries to convince him to join the Hashira training, we finally learn the reason why he refuse to participate. Apparently, he still feeling the guilt during his time at the selection process where Sabito and his older sister sacrificed themselves to save his life. After much coaxing from Tanjiro, he finally gave in and decides to train Tanjiro. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in next week’s episode. |
3 | 7/10 | Good episode. It seems like the first phase of Tanjiro’s Hashira training is with the former Hashira that he met while at the Entertainment District. Kinda funny seeing him breeze through the training regime whereas the rest of the demon slayers struggle so much. After completed the training, he heads over to Tokito’s place to continue training. Can’t wait to see how this plays out in next week’s episode………. |
4 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Kinda funny seeing how Tokito treats Tanjiro compared to the other Demon Corps members during their training. Soon we learned what Tokito does at night while everyone is resting which was training with the other Hashira. Good to see Tanjiro being able to motivate the Demon Corps members to keep up with the training despite some of them requested him to ask Tokito to ease up on the training. He was also able to bring out the positivity in everyone by using Tokito’s hobby as a way to bring them together. Can’t wait to see how his next training will play out in next week’s episode………. |
5 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see Tanjiro managed to complete his training at Hashira Mitsuri although her training regimen seemed odd at best. However the same can’t be said for the next two Hashira where he endured their brutal training regime which kinda made them a bit envious. Afterwards, they head towards the mountains to train under Hashira Gyoumei where they noticed another unusual training regime. Will they be able to make it out in one piece???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
6 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Kinda funny seeing the difference between Zenitsu and Tanjiro in terms of how they dealt with each training regimen. One thing I noticed with Tanjiro is that he brings positive vibes to every Hashira member especially with his cooking. Unfortunately, Tanjiro was having some difficulty overcoming with training thus he seeked some advice from Genya who happened to be there at the time. After receiving some tips, he eventually managed to overcome the challenge which surprised Zenitsu and Innosuke. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in next week’s episode……. |
7 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Now Tanjiro moves on to train with the next Hashira where he runs into Giyu who was also training with Shinazugawa. It seems like Shinazugawa’s training was a bit too much for both of them as Tanjiro was knocked out cold. Unfortunately, in the midst of their training, Muzan has already made his move to take out bed-ridden Kagaya as he was able to infiltrate their defences at night. Will the Hashiras be able to arrive in time to save him???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
8 | 9/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like they were too late to save Kagaya despite Muzan’s best efforts to stall him by talking him down which really enraged him. Muzan’s rage only got worse once the Hashiras finally arrived and they were transported into Muzan’s HQ. Now it seems like its up to Tanjiro and his friends to face off against Muzan. Can’t wait to see what happens in the upcoming movie that was announced shortly after final episode aired. |
