Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister :
Episode | Score | Comment/Impressions |
1 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Kinda strange seeing Uryu suddenly coming in to live at Amagami Shrine where we learned the reason behind it was so that he could enroll at the Kyoto University’s medical school. However things started to get awkward when he met 3 girls who were caught off guard because the priest was absent at the time. Soon after things got cleared up by the priest, all of them were caught by surprise when the he says that Uryu must marry one of his 3 daughters before he takes over the shrine. Can’t wait to see how this plays out in next week’s episode. |
2 | 7/10 | Good episode. It seems like Uryu felt he was bullied after those girls made him do all their chores after overhearing his circumstances in hopes of getting him to leave. Despite their plan succeeding, they somehow felt guilty for their actions and followed him to an orphanage home where they learned more about him. In the end, they slowly accepted him as a member of their family household. Now that Uryu has returned back to house, the next phase can begin. Can’t wait to see how this plays out in next week’s episode. |
3 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. I’m still surprised that Uryu is still living at that shrine after being constantly bullied by those 3 maidens whom he was supposed to choose to get married. We do learn quite a bit about their personality as Uryu takes turn in hanging out with them in their so called Marriage Meeting. However something interesting happens during his marriage meeting with the eldest maiden where he appeared to be falling down the stairs at the shrine, he caught a glimpse of the future when he grasped the talisman before emerging back in his bedroom. Quite an interesting future if I do say so myself however I’m not sure how Uryu feels about that. Can’t wait to see more in next week’s episode. |
4 | 7/10 | Good episode. It looks like the Amagami Shrine Festival is coming up soon however it seems like the maidens have no idea how to prepare for it since it was usually done by their late mother who was the priestess for the shrine. Unfortunately, the situation got worst when Uryu provoked the visitor who came from another shrine which resulted in them having to sell the shrine if they fail to get 5000 visitors. Uryu tries his best to help by proposing a bunch of ideas however the way the maidens implemented his idea was kinda of funny to watch. Good to see that they were able to get help from the nearby town’s committee who was just discussing about their festival and was willing to help them. Can’t wait to see how their festival plays out in next week’s episode. |
5 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Can’t believe that guy created a fake account and postings to stop them from achieving 5000 visitors by claiming the festival was cancelled. Thankfully, town’s committee and some of Uryu’s friends managed to promote their festival until they started coming in droves. Unfortunately, they only managed to hit 4999 visitors by the end of the festival. I thought it was that was the end of the line for their shrine but apparently that guy arrived as the 5000th visitor thus ending their ordeal. However the guy now demands that they make sure the visitors become regulars at the shrine. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in next week’s episode. |
6 | 7/10 | Good episode. Kinda funny seeing Uryu thinking about those girls while he was in the middle of studying thus losing focus altogether. Asahi offers to help Uryu answer his question in a very unusual way but ended up making a move on Uryu which caught him by surprise. It was still funny seeing how Uryu puts up with their shenanigans every day while being a bit clueless about their true feelings towards him. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in next week’s episode. |
7 | 7/10 | Good episode. Kinda funny seeing Uryu having another dream involving his future with the Amagami sisters and Arasiyama Shrine. He panicked after the girls mentioned about requesting help from the head of Arasiyama Shrine on how to run their shrine since they will be busy with school. We also learned that those girls trained under Yoshino who heads the Arasiyama Shrine. Unfortunately, she refuses to help the girls which I believe its due to Uryu as she determined that it was Uryu is the one who will determine the future of the shrine by means of marrying the Amagami sisters. Kinda funny seeing Uryu having to deal with the 2nd sister after she felt depressed due to what Yoshino said. It seems like the girls was just messing with Uryu in order to get him to unveil his true feelings which cheered them up but made Uryu very annoyed that he was tricked into doing so. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in next week’s episode. |
8 | 7/10 | Good episode. It seems like something is bothering Asahi. After much prodding from Uryu, we learned that she was offered a sport scholarship from a school in Tokyo. She was initially planning to move away and live by herself hence why she didn’t tell her sisters. However, Uryu decides to let the other sisters know about it and after much deliberation, Asahi decides to stay. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in next week’s episode. |
9 | 7/10 | Good episode. It seems like Uryu is having one of those dreams again about his future with the Amagami sisters. Looks like Mahiru and Yumiko are having a chat about Uryu and the Amagami sisters where they seem to be exchanging stories when they were raising them. Kinda funny seeing the Amagami sisters give their answer to Yomiko about the inheriting the shrine without any thought about what they plan to do with the shrine. However it seems like Uryu is still hesitant when asked about marrying the Amagami sisters but was willing to continue supporting them while pursuing his goal of becoming a doctor. Can’t wait to see how this will play out in the coming episodes. |
10 | 7/10 | Good episode. Quite surprised seeing Uryu ending up in the same school as Yuna. What made it even more hilarious was the fact that he ended up in the same class as Yuna where he was the only guy in that class which must be very awkward for Uryu. I guess that is what it takes to get into Kyoto University. Kinda funny seeing both of them trying so hard to hide their relationship from the rest of their classmates. Later he ran into Shirahi and they caught up on everything. Unfortunately, Amagami sisters were surrounded by guys taking their photos which prompted Uryu to save them. Can’t wait to see what happens in next week’s episode. |
TASUKETSU -Fate of the Majority- :
Episode | Score | Comment/Impressions |
12 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. At first, this new person Raion whom they brought in seems kinda sketchy especially when he tried to lie but was unable due to one of their members Prime Right ability. However he learned about Gobo group’s successful battle against the Emperor, he decides to join their group. From there, we can see he resembles a lot like Saneatsu given how he managed to come up with plan after they ran into one of the Queen’s henchman after uncovering a spy in their group shortly after the Queen’s broadcast declaring war on the “Emperor” Can’t wait to see how this plays out in next week’s episode. |
13 | 7/10 | Good episode. It seems like this Queen has sent more of her henchmen to go after them just as they were coming up with a plan on how to defeat her. At first, they struggled against the attacks whereby one can replicate and swap positions while the other had the water/ice power. Luckily, Raion got some help at the very last moment thanks to Gobo. Unfortunately, those henchmen escaped once again thus they were not able to get information from them. Can’t wait to see how they go about it in next week’s episode. |
14 | 7/10 | Good episode. Looks like Raion has come up with a plan to lure out the queen after they suspected that she removed the body of the emperor from the building after their battle. It turns out Raion hunch was correct as we can see the body of the emperor inside the Queen’s HQ as she was planning her next course of action. Unfortunately, it seems like the Queen has somewhat predicted Raion’s move thus sending her henchmen to the emperor’s HQ building. How will they counter this???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
15 | 7/10 | Good episode. It seems like everything went according to plan until they realised one of the Queen’s henchmen unveiled his power, Prime of Destruction. Luckily, they were saved by other members of Saneatsu’s group who I thought perished during the battle against the Emperor. Soon we learned how they survived and what they were doing in the background which was quite impressive as they already caught a member of the Queen named Mutsuki. Will they be able to get the info they need from the captured member???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
16 | 7/10 | Good episode. Looks like they were able to get a bit more information out of Mutsuki. From there, they begin preparations on where to locate the Queen’s base and defeating while taking into account that she may have already relocated since Mutsuki capture. Kinda sad seeing Raion feeling left out of the discussion as the others was contributed a lot of ideas towards their plan. His feelings became more apparent after he saw Saneatsu in-person. Luckily, the others realized this and tried to cheer him up. Can’t wait to see how their plans play out in next week’s episode. |
17 | 7/10 | Good episode. We learned a bit more on the Queen from Sudo and Yagihashi as they prepare to launch their attack on the Queen. However the Queen was also doing the same as she enlists help from a priest, Seraphiel. Soon the attack commences and it seems like Raion’s group is being slightly pushed back. It seems like either the Queen or one of her subordinates have the power to revive the dead hence their earlier confusion as to why the foes they previously defeated are still alive. I wonder how they will tackle this????? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
18 | 7/10 | Good episode. It seems Raion has some concerns in regards to the intel they got from Mutsuki and wants everyone to be cautious as they prepare to launch an attack on the Queen. Meanwhile, we see the Queen’s subordinates are also making preparations in anticipation of the upcoming Killer’s Game event. I find it amazing that they were able to convince Knight to betray the Queen while rescuing his siblings without any issue. However the game is still not over yet, as the game is still ongoing and it seems like the Queen has more plans in order to find them. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in next week’s episode. |
19 | 7/10 | Good episode. It seems like the Emperor is making her rounds gathering more Prime Rights which is starting to make Raion a bit uneasy therefore they come up with a dangerous plan to infiltrate Queen’s army using Raion. From there, we learned that the Emperor has a new member, Kai Kasai who posses quite a deadly ability called Prime Right Morgage Right which allows him to gain that person’s Prime Right whenever the other party breaches what they agreed upon. I wonder what Yagihashi is plotting???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
20 | 7/10 | Good episode. Good to see Raion was able gain the trust of the Queen. However their situation becomes a bit complicated when she demanded that he display his loyalty to them. Unfortunately, Rika was killed after sending off Raion and Souma to their meetup location with the emperor which was quite devastating for the whole team especially Omi. However their situation got even worse after during the rescue of Souma and Hikari when Shinozaki was attacked after they escaped the enemy’s HQ. Furthermore, Souma was forced to use his power to allow Hikari and Ryuta to escape. Not sure how they will move forward with two losses from this mission. I guess we will find out in next week’s episode to find out. |
21 | 7/10 | Good episode. It seems like Yagihashi’s plan goes beyond what I have ever seen as we see Hirayama and Fukami accusing each other of being a traitor in attempt to kill the queen during one of their attacks. Unfortunately, the queen was revived by Kou who possesses Resurrection Right. Later we learned the Queen’s plan which was to locate Teppei Yoshii as he possesses the power of Obedience Right. We learned quite a lot about the TASUKETSU game which seems to be some of kind of experiment gone wrong. Not sure what Iruga is plotting as he plans to tell the Queen about the location of Teppei Yoshii in the presence of Raion. Can’t wait to see how Yagihashi’s plan plays out in next week’s episode. |
Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Season 3 :
Episode | Score | Comment/Impressions |
1 | 9/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see Natsuki continue to have fun with all his friends until Emilia received an invitation from Anastasia, who hails from watergate city of Pristella. At first, everything seemed normal however there was growing sense of danger as we encounter more and more unknown people up until a point where a lady from witch cult hypnotized the crowd in order to watch her kill the poor boy whom she held hostage which in turn killed the entire crowd including Subaru. Luckily, Subaru’s ability allowed him to revive from last checkpoint but it was kinda gruesome to see that happen again. Who was that mysterious lady???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
2 | 9/10 | Awesome episode. It turns out Sin Archbishop Sirius was up to something involving the boy and presumably his sister, Tina. Unfortunately, Subaru’s 2nd and 3rd attempt at stopping Sin Archbishop Sirius ended in failure even with Reinhard helping out. Soon after, Emilia and Beatrice caught on to what Natsuki has been hiding from them and decides to help him. Although it seemed to go well at first with Emilia taking on Sin Archbishop Sirius in an all out battle, their battle was rudely interrupted by another Sin Archbishop named Corneas who swoops in and kidnaps Emilia. What will Natsuki do next???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
3 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like Natsuki’s conversation with Corneas didn’t end well as he ended up severely injured. Meanwhile, Garfiel has ran into his mother but for some reason his “mother” doesn’t remember him which was kinda depressing to watch. Soon we learned the reason why all those Sin Archbishop people are in Pristella which was to retrieve the body of their fallen comrade. I wonder how they plan to stop them???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
4 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like Garfield and Mimi has ran into members of Witch Cult as they were searching the city for signs of the children. Unfortunately, Mimi got severely injured as they were retreating from the enemy. Later Natsuki comes up with a plan to infiltrate Government office which hit a little snag as they ran into another two of those Sin Archbishop people. Can’t wait to see how this will play out in next week’s episode. |
5 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like Subaru has landed himself into another trap after being fooled into rescuing a girl who was being guarded by a dragon. It turns out that girl was just another Witch Cult member for Lust. Unfortunately, the situation keeps getting worst as they slowly losing against Witch Cult. Suddenly, someone opened the flood gates resulting in the city being flooded with water. With Subaru severely injured, I wonder how they will turn this around before the Witch Cult people achieved their mission???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
6 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like Subaru’s leg looks cursed after the encounter with that Witch Cult member for Lus as evident when Priscilla took a look at his injuries after the flood . Meanwhile it seems like Regulus is still insists on forcing Emilia to marry him despite having hundreds of wives. Will Subaru be able to save Emilia before the planned wedding???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
7 | 7/10 | Good episode. Good to see Emilia being able to communicate with Al in order to relay some crucial information about the witches cult to Subaru. From there, they devise a plan to take back control of those control towers. However it seems like Subaru was reluctant to take charge at first, but after a bit of prodding from his friends he finally uses his voice to rally the townspeople to work with him. Can’t wait to see the outcome of his plan in the coming episodes…….. |
8 | 7/10 | Good episode. It seems like they are still fine tuning the details of their plan to defeat four Sin Archbishops. Luckily there were more people who came to help out after hearing Subaru’s speech. We also hear Otto’s concerns with Subaru’s plans as well as learn more about Reinhard from Wilhelm which was quite shocking. Good to see Subaru made it time to rescue Emilia from Corneas. Will he be able to rescue Emilia from Corneas in his current condition???? Can’t wait for next episode which will continue in February 2025 to find out. |
The Prince of Tennis II U-17 World Cup Semifinal :
Episode | Score | Comment/Impressions |
1 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see Japan finally making the semifinal where Japan will soon face off against Germany where their former teammate, Tezuka awaits them. However since there is still time before their next match, they decided to go scout their opponents which included Team USA who are facing off against Switzerland for the semifinals. Quite an interesting match to watch as both us are not backing down. Meanwhile, Atobe decides to have a friendly match with Tezuka where he received a disk from Tezuka. I wonder what that contains???? Can’t wait to see Japan face off against Germany in next week’s episode. |
2 | 7/10 | Good episode. Looks like we start off with single matches where Oni faces off against Q.P from Germany, At first, it seems like Oni has the upper hand however as the match progresses, Q.P manages to overpower him and score a win. We also learned a bit about Q.P’s past where he actually came from an orphanage and how one coach was determined to bring out the best in him despite protests from the high-ups. Now we get to see the fruits of their labour during this match. However Oni still has a few tricks up his sleeve. Can’t wait to see how this match plays out in next week’s episode. |
3 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like Oni was leading in the match against Q.P at first. However it seems like Q.P was able to turn the match around in a blink of an eye. Oni tried to counter but ended up injuring himself which allowed Q.P to pull ahead. Even though, Oni was able to pick himself up but it wasn’t enough to win the match. Can’t wait to see how their 2nd doubles match will turn out in next week’s episode. |
4 | 7/10 | Good episode. Duke and Nio face off against Schneider and Belti from Team Germany where they appeared to be taking the leading with their illusion technique until Team Germany unleashed their technique which caused them to fall behind during the 2nd set. Luckily they were able to catch up but will it be enough to secure a victory???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
5 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see Duke and Nio managed to defeat Schneider and Belti from Team Germany. Now we continue with the 2nd singles match where Yukimura vs Tezuka face off against each other. It appears that Yukimura is taking the lead as he overwhelms Tezuka so that he can’t use his signature move. Unfortunately, that stride didn’t last long as Tezuka manages to counter it with his intense shot while in Pinnacle of Perfection state. Can’t wait to see how this match will play out in next week’s episode. |
6 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see Yukimura was able to win the first set against Tezuka which surprised Tezuka’s teammates and one of them began accusing him of holding back against his former teammate. However as the match progressed we see Tezuka finally unveiling his ultimate weapon which took Yukimura by surprise thus allowing Tezuka to win the 2nd set. Who will win the final set???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
7 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see both Yukimura and Tezuka put up a good fight with each of them using all of their abilities. Unfortunately, Tezuka was just slightly better thus the victory goes to Tezuka from Team Germany. Can’t wait to see how their other matches will play out in next week’s episode. |
8 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Quite surprising seeing Ryoma’s older brother, Ryoga playing for Team Spain where he defeated Reinhart from Team USA with such overwhelming force. So I guess Ryoga and Ryoma are not from USA to begin with but rather from Spain given that flashback we saw during their play. Kinda sad seeing Team USA losing out in the semi finals to Team Spain. Meanwhile, Team Japan is having their double matches against Team Germany. If they win, they will most face off against Team Spain in the finals. Who will win???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
9 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Quite surprised seeing Kirihara going all out Siegfried’s Pinnacle of Perfection with his Focus Burst despite this being a doubles match. However it seems like Team Germany is plotting something as Siegfried has mostly being defending his serves. Soon their worst fears has been realized as they were intentionally making Kirihara use up all his stamina however they underestimated Kirihara as he pulled a trick where Siegfried was also knocked out thus the match continues with their partners. Can’t wait to see how this plays out in next week’s episode. |
10 | 7/10 | Good episode. The match continues to intensify into the second set of the doubles match between Tanegashima-Kirihara and Bismarck-Siegfried as they duke it out on the court with neither side backing down. Later the second set reached a tiebreak where we learned that it might be Bismarck’s speciality given how much he trained in the past. Unfortunately, it seems like Germany has taken the lead since then which leaves Japan in a precarious situation where if they lose, they will not advance to final round. Luckily, Kirihara managed to jump in and save them but will it be enough???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
Negative Positive Angler :
Episode | Score | Comment/Impressions |
1 | 7/10 | Good episode. It seems like Sasaki has all but given up on life after experiencing repetitive failures in life which included bad news from his doctor saying he has 2 years left to live. Luckily he was saved by a group of fisherman after he fell of bridge whilst trying to escape from debt collectors. From there, he began to take part in fishing where he soon got the hang of it. Unfortunately, when he returned home for the day, his home has been demolished. I wonder where will he go now???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
2 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see Takaaki taking him in after seeing Sasaki’s home being demolished. He even went as far as finding him a job so that he can get back on his feet. However when one of his workmates found that Sasaki doesn’t like fishing, she immediately brings him out for a day of fishing where he seems to be enjoying himself. Unfortunately, his happiness didn’t last long when he ran into his schoolmates which triggered something inside of him. I wonder what is he running away from???? I guess we will only find out later down the line. |
3 | 7/10 | Good episode. We learned quite a bit about Sasaki’s past where every ambition he ever had always never works out. Kinda sad seeing him continue to spiral downwards up to a point where he felt like it is not worth living anymore. Glad to see Takaaki is willing to help him out after he finally managed to learn the full story from Sasaki. Kinda funny seeing Takaaki’s boss was getting excited about capturing a houndshark only for it to be a ray. Can’t wait to see how this plays out in next week’s episode. |
4 | 7/10 | Good episode. Good to see Sasaki getting used to working at the convenience store. We learn a bit about Hana and her past which was quite interesting. I think the most interesting part is the difference between Sasaki and Hana kinda covers for each other’s weakness. Kinda funny seeing Hana dragging Sasaki to go fishing just to get back at him for teasing her for not being able to count. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in next week’s episode. |
5 | 7/10 | Good episode. Its payday and it was funny to see Sasaki receive his pay after working at the store a month. Unfortunately, we get to see his weakness which is lack of control when it comes to managing his finances as evident when the girls drag him to go shopping at the fishing equipment store where spend a huge chunk of his money there. However things got even worse after he tried out Takaaki’s fishing gear and decided to buy a similar one for himself which ultimately put him in the red. At least he is putting the gear to good use and all of it might pay off if he uses it well. Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
6 | 7/10 | Good episode. Good to see Sasaki is getting better at fishing with each day so I guess buying that fancy gear was worth it. Later he encountered a customer to which he had trouble understanding as to what he was saying as he spoke a foreign language. Luckily Ice-san came to the rescue and helped him communicate with the customer. From there, they got to know each other better after she invites him to go fishing out in the open sea. Good to see all of them had a great time while catching quite a number of fish to which they celebrated at Takaaki’s house. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in next week’s episode. |
7 | 7/10 | Good episode. Looks like Sasaki is out for another fishing trip but this time for sardines which doesn’t seem appealing to him as he was more interested in big fish. Kinda funny seeing him experiment with different lures as part of his attempt to improve his catch rate. Soon he was able to grasp it and was able to capture a sizeable amount of sardines. Good to see this new hobby has really brought out some positive effect for Sasaki. Can’t wait to see what else awaits him in next week’s episode. |
8 | 7/10 | Good episode. It seems Machida was planning to spend sometime with his son however he seems hesitant on how they should spend that time. In the end, he decides to take him fishing despite knowing that his son might not like fishing. Kinda funny how the others also tagged along for the sake of fishing as well as help him throughout his outing. Glad to see everything working out tint the end. Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
9 | 7/10 | Good episode. Kinda funny seeing everyone experiencing some form of withdrawal after being unable to go fishing due to the typhoon. In the end, they decided to make hot pot to help pass the time while Sasaki had to work at the shop where he was too body practicing knot tying skills. Quite surprising that the loan sharks didn’t go after Sasaki after they stumbled into the shop from the storm. They even joined in to make the hot pot better with the ingredients they had on hand. Good to see everyone having a good time during the storm. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in next week’s episode. |
10 | 9/10 | Awesome episode. Something seems to be bothering Sasaki during their visit to hospital to see Machida. Later, Takaaki accidentally saw what Sasaki was really worried about and tries to coax him to go seek treatment to which Sasaki kept holding off with various excuses. Soon after, Sasaki ran into Takaaki’s uncle who requests that Takaaki visit his brother’s grave.. It seems to me that both Takaaki and Sasaki have been running away from reality of life by going fishing. Unfortunately, when Takaaki got a bit pushy, Sasaki conveyed Takaaki uncle’s message which caused an argument between those two. Will they be ok???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
Blue Box :

1 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Quite interesting to see Taiki having feelings for Chinatsu despite the difference in their athletic abilities where Chinatsu seems to do a lot better than Taiki as pointed out by his friends. Quite shocking when he thought Chinatsu was moving overseas but when he confronted her she corrected his misunderstanding by saying that only her parents were moving overseas but she decides to stay behind. However I never thought she would be staying at Taiki’s house. Can’t wait to see how this plays out in next week’s episode. |
2 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. We are introduced to two more characters, namely Hina and Kyo. Kinda funny seeing Taiki and Chinatsu had a bit of misunderstanding after Hina started asking indirectly about their relationship. Luckily, Taiki managed to clear things up with Chinatsu only for another to appear when he saw Chinatsu walking together with Haryu who happens to be his rival to beat as part of his journey to nationals. Can’t wait to see how this plays out in next week’s episode. |
3 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Kinda funny seeing Taiki pretending that nothing happen when he saw Chinatsu walking with Haryu only to be surprised when he learned the truth from Chinatsu. Soon he faces off against Haryu in a Singles Match where he loses miserably which prompted Chinatsu to help Taiki practice after school despite being a total beginner at badminton. Looks like Taiki’s hard practice has paid off when he was paired with Haryu for the upcoming doubles match to which he had to endure Haryu’s training regime as preparation especially after Haryu overheard that he liked Chinatsu which resulted in his training regime getting harder. Can’t wait to see how they will work together in next week’s episode. |
4 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. I think Taiki is getting a bit too nervous for the upcoming match that he accidentally took Chinatsu’s gym clothes We finally get to see how Chinatsu feels after seeing Taiki working so hard for the upcoming tournament as well as indirectly unveiling her insecurities as she continues to motivate Taiki. Kinda funny seeing Taiki’s reaction when Haryu ups the stakes for his upcoming singles match against his former doubles partner all in the name of Chinatsu. Kyo is such a good pal as he advises Chinatsu to take Taiki out if he wins the match. Will Taiki win the match???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
5 | 7/10 | Good episode. Good to see Taiki managed to win the match against Haryu’s former doubles partner, Kishi which earned him a day with Chinatsu at the aquarium. Good to see both of them having a good time although Taiki is still reluctant to confess his true feelings to her until he has achieved his goal. However it seems like Hina maybe feeling a bit jealous after she discovered that Chinatsu was living at Taiki’s house. Can’t wait to see what happens in next week’s episode. |
6 | 7/10 | Good episode. It seems like the thought of Chinatsu living at Taiki’s house seemed to bother Hina quite a bit even though she got an explanation from both Taiki and Chinatsu. Furthermore, pressure from others to didn’t help her situation which caused her to slip up. Luckily, Taiki managed to calm things down after Hina accidentally sprained her ankle during practice. However it seems like Chinatsu feels that she is in the way of Hina’s relationship with Taiki. I guess Taiki will have to tread this love triangle relationship with care. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in next week’s episode. |
7 | 7/10 | Good episode. Looks like both Chinatsu and Taiki are hard at work preparing for their respective tournaments with Chinatsu just returning from the tournament where they managed to make it to the final round where they will face off against their biggest rival yet. Good to see Taiki has also improved quite a lot during his practice matches with Haryu which earned him a little reward after school at the nearby convenience store. Can’t wait to see the outcome of their upcoming matches in the coming episodes……… |
8 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like both Taiki and Haryu are having a hard time during both doubles and single matches despite their hard work . However it seems like Taiki was hit hard by the losses after overhearing Chinatsu’s conversation upon returning home. Will he be ok????? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
9 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Kinda sad seeing Taiki feeling down after losing the tournament which resulted in him overworking himself for the exams until he falls sick. Luckily, Chinatsu realized what was going on and they managed to have a good one to one talk which cheered him up. However something unexpected happens when Taiki tries to help Chinatsu clean up. Can’t wait to see what happens in next week’s episode. |
10 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like Taiki is somewhat bothered by what happened between them and tried to seek relationship advise from Haryu which I guess helps a little. However it seems like Chinatsu seems to have realized what is going through Taiki’s mind and she asks him to forget what happened that night so that they can focus on their goals. Can’t wait to see how this plays out in next week’s episode. |
Mecha-Ude: Mechanical Arms :
Episode | Score | Comment/Impressions |
1 | 7/10 | Good episode. Not sure where to start but it seems like these Mechanical lifeforms are what sets people apart which kinda explains why there was a fight over Alma before Hikaru by accident after being lured in by a voice calling for help. Kinda funny seeing his initial reaction when Alma became derized to his hoodie after he touched that cube looking object. From there, Hikaru is now being targeted by various parties where one of them even went as far as transferring to his school. Can’t wait to see how this plays out in next week’s episode. |
2 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like there are two groups that are after the Mecha-Ude named Alma that Hikaru possesses namely the ARMS group and the Kagami group. Kinda funny seeing Aki continues to follow Hikaru throughout the day until one of Hikaru’s classmate, Meru led both of them into an abandoned building thinking those two are in a relationship. Honestly, I’m not sure which side to trust despite ARMS is looking like the good guys but that suggestion is not holding much ground after Hikaru was told that they only need Alma and not Hikaru. I wonder what Hikaru will do???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
3 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see they decided not to forcefully remove Alma from Hikaru since it comes with severe side-effects for Hikaru. However Aki has been assigned to protect Alma while being forced to set aside her personal feelings. Unfortunately, things got a bit dicey during one of her missions where other Mecha-Ude holders tried to take Alma despite their best efforts to keep him hidden. Good to see Hikaru was able to awaken some part of Alma’s power and put a stop to the enemies plan as well as saving Aki’s life. So basically Hikaru has proven the boss of ARMS wrong of the claims that he can’t utilize Alma’s powers. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in next week’s episode………. |
4 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Not bad for Hikaru’s first mission as he managed to defeat the enemy whom seems to be controlled by a worm-like creature. Kinda funny seeing Jun transferring to his school solely to go after Hikaru and Alma. So basically we now have Aki and Jun fighting over Hikaru. We did learn a bit about Alma from Jun which took us by surprise when he claimed that Alma belongs to his family. Meanwhile, Aki seems to have ran into that worm-type Mecha Ude wielder who was attacking her comrades. Unfortunately, she was not able to save him but why flee the scene???? Soon we learn from the leader of ARMS about Alma’s true capability which explains why everyone is after Alma. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in next week’s episode. |
5 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like worm-type Mecha Ude wielder was actually Aki’s long lost sister, Fubuki as evident by her confession when they met. Unfortunately, during that time there was a epidemic among Mecha Ude wielders where some of them would lose control of their Mecha Ude and go berserk. So far the leader of ARMS suspected that Aki and her sister is behind it and orders HIkaru to bring her in. We also learned that Fubuki is suffering from some kind of illness that could only be cured by Hikaru’s Arbitrium used to awaken his trigger arm. Not sure if that Mecha Ude is telling the truth or not. I guess we will only find out in next week’s episode. |
6 | 9/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see Aki decided against getting Hikaru involved with her plan even though he voluntarily accepted her offer despite not knowing what will happen to himself. We finally realised the Fubuki was being controlled by that worm-type Mecha-Ude, Amaryllis and the ARMS boss has been keeping that a secret from Aki. Luckily, Hikaru managed to save Aki before Amaryllis managed to take over her body. Good to see Kagami stepping in to free Fubuki from Amaryllis while Hikaru managed to awaken more of Alma’s power to defeat Amaryllis. Not sure if that is the last time we will see Amaryllis. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in next week’s episode. |
7 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like Alma has finally regained his memory after that battle with Amaryllis but he was too afraid to tell Hikaru. Unfortunately when Hikaru does ask Alma about it, he ran away from him in order to protect Hikaru from experiencing what his previous owner went through. We soon learned about Alma’s past from his older brother, Fist at ARMS HQ and another ability of Alma that returned after he regained his memory which was he can generate his own Arbitrium thus doesn’t require a human to derize. It seems like Alma has decided to go with Jun to return to enemy’s HQ to awakening Ordela. Can’t wait to see what happens in next week’s episode. |
8 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. We learned a bit more about founder of the Kagami Group, Yakumo who awakened with Alma in the past and lost his life as he attempted to awaken Ordela, the originator of all the Mecha-Ude. Unfortunately, his legacy still carries on till today where the group once again attempted to use Ordela’s powers to open up the gate to the world of Mecha-Udes with Alma as the trigger. Unfortunately, things did not go according to plan as it went out of control. Will Hikaru and his friends be able to stop it???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
9 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see Hikaru and Alma working together with Kagami in order to seal way Ordela who was recently reawakened. Quite surprised seeing Kagami using a much more powerful Mecha-Ude during the fight. After defeating Ordela, we soon learn that there was one more enemy left which left me gobsmacked as it turns out to be Yakumo himself. What will Hikaru do???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
10 | 9/10 | Awesome episode. It turns out this Yakumo person is just a corpse being manipulated by his Mecha-Ude, Fist. Good to see Hikaru and Alma put up a fight against them however Fist was stronger and ended up severely injuring Hikaru while managing to absorb Ordela’s power thus unleashing chaos throughout the Japan. Good to see everyone with a Mecha-Ude working together to take down Ordela despite the odds. However it seems like it may be too late to save Hikaru’s life due to his severe injuries. Can’t wait to see how this plays out in next week’s episode. |
Rurouni Kenshin Season 2: -Kyoto Disturbance- :
Episode | Score | Comment/Impressions |
1 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like Kenshin has decided against taking a boat to Kyoto to avoid an ambush by Shishio but rather take the alternate route via Tokaido. Good to see Sanosuke and Yahiko wanting to tag along after seeing Kaoru feeling down but were struggling to prove their strength to Saitou who overheard their plans to join Kenshin in Kyoto. Good to see Megumi was able to talk some sense into Kaoru thus lifting her spirits. I wonder how Sanosuke, Yahiko and Kaoru plan on getting stronger so that they can help Kenshin???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
2 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like Aoshi is back for his revenge against Kenshin as per his visit to the Dojo only to find that he already left Kyoto. Not sure what happened to him after their last battle as he seems somewhat dejected. He even rejected an offer from Shishio which was not surprising given his lone wolf nature. However I think Shishio will try to recruit Aoshi no matter the circumstances. Meanwhile, Kenshin ran into a burglar named Misao where she tried to take him on only to fail miserably. After forcing her to return the stolen goods, Misao mentioned something that left Kenshin dumbfounded. I guess she knew a thing or two about Oniwaban clan. Can’t wait to see his journey continue in next week’s episode. |
3 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Kinda funny seeing Misao trying to follow Kenshin no matter how many times he tried to lose her. In the end, Kenshin allowed Misao to tag along with him before running into a severely injured person. Unfortunately, the person passed away before they were able to get help. Later they found a boy who explained the situation and led them to village that was supposedly abandoned only to find it taken over and his parents killed. It seems like Kenshin plans to take on those people after they tried to take him on. Can’t wait to see how this plays out in next week’s episode. |
4 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Looks like Kenshin is finally able to meet with Shishio while being accompanied by Hajime. It wasn’t long before Kenshin had to face off against the Senkaku who was in control of Shingetsu Village. Good to see that Kenshin didn’t outright attack Senkaku as it may reveal his secrets to the enemy but instead wear down the enemy which was very smart. In the end, Kenshin was able to land a few fatal blows on Senkaku. Can’t wait to see the outcome of this battle in next week’s episode. |
5 | 9/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see Kenshin was able to defeat Senkaku however Shishio expressed his disappointment because Kenshin was holding back as he was not his Hitokiri self. As a result, he instructs Sojiro to battle him which ended in a draw and Kenshin’s sword broke as a result of their sword blows of Battojutsu. Good to see Kenshin taking this positively although you can sense some displeasure within him. Hopefully he can get his sword fixed before reaching Kyoto as it seems Shishio is going to stop at nothing to draw out the Hitokiri-self inside Kenshin. Can’t wait to see what else awaits him and his friends in next week’s episode. |
6 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. We take a step back and take a look at Sanosuke’s journey where he continues to get lost while desperately trying to get on track to Kyoto. From there, he ran into a monk in training named Anji Yukyuzan who was in the middle of training. He was amazed seeing Anji’s move the Mastery of Two Layers and tries to get Anji to teach him the technique to which a condition was imposed where he must die if he fails to learn the technique within 1 month. Good to see Sanosuke trying is very best to master the technique despite being told he has reached his limits. In the end, he finally managed to master the technique which earned him directions to Kyoto. Hopefully he doesn’t get lost but I guess we can’t hope for much when it comes to Sanosuke. We also learned that Anji is part of Ten Sword elite squads which means we will prolly face him again in the future. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in next week’s episode. |
7 | 7/10 | Good episode. Good to see Kenshin and Misao finally arriving in Kyoto where they meet up with Okina who is Misao’s grandfather and has a very unusual personality but seems to have connections. He tries to get a new sword forged from Seiku however his request got refused as that person has stopped forging swords for the peace of Meiji Era. The search for swordsmith continues. Hopefully he can get a new sword forged before Shishio carries out his attack. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in next week’s episode. |
8 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Kinda funny seeing Misao and her grandfather not giving up in searching for a swordsmith to help forge a new sword for Kenshin. Meanwhile, Shishio is still busy preparing for his attack by buying weapons and gathering more followers to build an army. Unfortunately, the situation has become more dire for Seiku as his son was abducted one of Shishio’s henchmen, Cho the Sword Hunter after he initially refused to provide information on his father’s last forged sword. The situation got even worse when his wife revealed the location of the sword but their son was still being held hostage. Now we learned that he has quite a collection of swords at his disposal. Will Kenhsin be able to defeat him???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
9 | 9/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see Seiku finally decided to give Kenshin his father’s last sword after seeing him put his life on the line for his family. However when Kenhsin takes the sword out of its sheath, he realises its an identical copy of his broken sword which begs the question as to why Seiku’s father would make such a sword. Luckily, he was able to defeat Cho without reverting to his former self. With a new sword in his possession, he should be ready to take on Shishio. Can’t wait to see what else awaits him in next week’s episode. |
10 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. We learned about the origins of Kenshin’s sword which was given to him after he decided to stop being the Hitokiri Battosai and become Rurouni. Good to see he was able to help out a couple who saved him after he caught a fever while taking shelter in an abandoned shrine. The fact he was able to use his new sword without killing people is the first step in becoming a Rurouni. Can’t wait to see what else awaits Kenshin and his friends in next week’s episode. |
Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online II :
Episode | Score | Comment/Impressions |
1 | 7/10 | Good episode. Nice to see the whole gang is back together again for another round of Squad Jam inside the world of GGO. However what makes this quite unique is that Pitohui formed a team with M, Fukaziroh, and LLENN and called it “LPFM”. It seems like there are some new team members who will be part of the 3rd Squad Jam. Can’t wait to see how this plays out in next week’s episode. |
2 | 7/10 | Good episode. It seems like their team LPFM is at a disadvantage when they realised they were placed at the center of the map and being forced towards the center by sinking areas. To make matters worst, they learned that multiple teams have teamed up to take them out as evident by the flares sent out. Kinda amazing seeing them taking out the enemy from inside that freight car after being surrounded by them. Can’t wait to see what their next move will be in next week’s episode. |
3 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like LPFM has decided to meet up with the rest of allied team since the island is continuing to be flooded. Meanwhile we get to see Clarence and Shirley engage in one to one combat which didn’t end well for both of them as they try to outwit each other but failed miserably. Can’t wait to see how this match continue to play out in next week’s episode. |
4 | 7/10 | Good episode. Good to see LPFM has managed to reach the Unknown area as the number of teams remaining continues to dwindle. Kinda interesting to see that no one has gone after them yet. However things started to changed when an announcement was made about a special rule that will apply to select players from each team which completely changed the dynamics of the game. How will they manage this???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
5 | 7/10 | Good episode. We get to see the other team members who got selected to join this new Team BTRY. Some were reluctant to leave their own team for this new team while some were a bit hesitant. However it seems there were many who were happy that they will be able to fight LLENN. Unfortunately it seems like their fight against Team BTRY maybe a bit difficult as their planned entrance to their new opponent’s hideout has been blocked. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in next week’s episode. |
6 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Looks like Pitohui is leading Team BTRY with her strategy which was kinda brutal. Soon, LLEN’s team able to make it inside the ship before their hiding spot was completely submerged in water. Unfortunately, Fukaziroh accidentally fired the wrong weapon which took out the enemy but ended up pushing one enemy towards M which resulted in him being strangled by the enemy. Will they be able to save M???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
7 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see they were able to save M from the enemy. Meanwhile, it seems like Pitohui is experiencing some kind of fatigue however that didn’t stop her from killing her own teammates as well as the other teams. I think the most shocking part is when we learned that Pitohui was not actually the one chosen Team BTRY but rather it was LLEN. Kinda makes you wonder how the game doesn’t check or have some indication to show who is part of Team BTRY. Will LLEN be ok now that the tables have turned on her???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
8 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like LLEN is going all out as evident by her war cry to Pitohui. I’m still quite surprised that Pitohui was able to fool the system and everyone on Team BTRY that she was on their team when in fact it was supposed to be LLEN. As the fight progresses, the ship continues to sink therefore, LLEN tries to eliminate the rest of her opponents until its just her and Pitohui. Good to see LLEN managed to defeat Pitohui once again in such a brutal fight to the death. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them post-tournament in next week’s episode. |
9 | 7/10 | Good episode. Kinda funny seeing her team still using LLEN as bait during their regular battles in GGO. However it seems like her luck may have run out has she was shot despite taking the appropriate measures which left her in limbo whether to continue playing GGO. Good to see they were able to somewhat address LLEN’s concerns outside of the game. Can’t wait to see how this plays out in their upcoming tournament. |
10 | 7/10 | Good episode. It seems like the enemy NPCs for this particularly strong as even LLEN was knocked out as she tried to approach the castle. After observing the other teams approaching the castle and getting wiped out in a similar way. After a bit of discussion, they decided to team up with the other teams to increase their chances of winning. I wonder if they will be able to convince the other teams to do so especially after what Pitohui did last time???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
BLUE LOCK 2nd Season: Blue Lock vs. U-20 Japan :
Episode | Score | Comment/Impressions |
1 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see most of Isagi friends making it past the 2nd selection. However their ordeals at Blue Lock are far from over as they are now making preparations for their upcoming match against the U-20 Japan. From there, Ego announces the 6 players that the team will be centered around which surprisingly didn’t include Isagi. Now they have to choose which team they will choose for the tryouts which left Isagi a bit hesitant. Luckily, after a quick chat with a few people including Reo, he finally made his decision to go for Rin’s team. Can’t wait to see how this plays out in next week’s episode. |
2 | 7/10 | Good episode. Looks like the first match has been decided and it turns out Isagi (a.k.a Team A) and Chigiri (a.k.a Team B) are going to face off against each other. Unfortunately, it seems like Isagi is struggling to score a goal while trying to work together with Rin. However Chigiri was able to score a goal by forcing his way through despite being ignored by his own teammates thus resulting in him being acknowledged by his teammates. It seems like situation is getting worst with Team A as their teamwork is no where to be seen while Team B is slowly pulling ahead. Can Isagi turn this match around???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
3 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like Isagi is always one step behind because by the time he figures things out its too late to make the target because results either his plan getting shutdown by the opponent or he missed the crucial shot due to his lack of physical activity. Luckily Hiyori gave him some tips to overcome it which is to use reflexes which took him sometime to grasp but Isagi eventually managed to get ahead of Shidou and Rin and scored a goal. Good to see that his surprise attack gained the praise from both Rin and Shidou. Can’t wait to see Reo and Nagi’s match in next week’s episode. |
4 | 7/10 | Good episode. Just like Isagi’s match, Reo struggles to keep up with Nagi as he is always one step ahead. Despite trying his best, he was still unable to score his own goal until he looked back at himself and realised what he needed to do in order to evolve thus awakening his own playstyle, the Chameleon. Good to see he was able to utilize his own playstyle in order to get ahead and land a goal however it wasn’t enough to beat Rin’s team. Can’t wait to see who will get selected for their upcoming match against Japan U-20 in next week’s episode. |
5 | 7/10 | Good episode. Good to see Isagi being chosen in Blue Lock lineup tot ake on the Japan U-20. Unfortunately, the same cannot be sad fir Shidou after he caused such a disturbance in their last tryout match as well as Sae Itoshi’s demands. Good to see Junpei going through the final preparations with his newly chosen lineup in preparation for the match. Can’t wait for the match to begin in next week’s episode. |
6 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see everyone is excited for their match against the U-20 Japan. It seems like Shidou will not be part of the U-20 Japan starting lineup as part of the last ditch effort to prevent the team from falling apart. It seems like U-20 Japan’s captain, Aiku is no slouch when it comes to soccer as he was able to intercept Bachira’s pass to Isagi which only made Isagi more excited. Can’t wait to see how the match plays out in next week’s episode. |
7 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like Blue Lock is experiencing a bit of panic during their play with the U-20 team especially after Sae Itoshi managed to score a goal. Luckily Rin still remained calm and asks Isagi to follow his lead which eventually worked as they both managed to open up a path for Nagi to score a goal which shocked the entire audience. Can’t wait to see how the rest of the match plays out in next week’s episode. |
8 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. The match continues to heat up as each player is doing their best to score a goal for their team. We also learned why Nagi was able to pull off such an incredible goal which according to Ego was a result of their trials inside Blue Lock. Kinda funny seeing Rin use Isagi as bait to lure the opponent so that he can score another goal. Luckily the rest of Blue Lock Eleven team was able to hold their ground to ensure the opponent doesn’t score until the end of the first half. It seems like the U-20 Japan team may switch in Shidou for the 2nd half of the match. Can’t wait to see how this plays out in next week’s episode. |
9 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. As the team prepares for the 2nd half of the match, we learn a bit more about Rin and Sae’s past which was somewhat heartbreaking to watch where they were inseparable at first to becoming complete rivals. It seems like Sae’s trip overseas has really changed him which resulted in Rin completely hating his older brother. Now that the U-20 team is bringing in Shidou into their lineup, how will the 2nd half match play out???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
10 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. As expected, Shidou seems to be in sync with Sae until their own teammates can’t catch up which eventually allowed them to score a goal thus tying the score. Unfortunately, things are not looking good for Blue Lock as they had to sub out Niko and Chigiri after they got injured while one of them got a yellow card during their attempts to stop Shidou. With Reo and Hiyori being subbed in, will they be able to turn this match around with their abilities???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
Blue Exorcist Season 4: -Beyond the Snow Saga- :
Episode | Score | Comment/Impressions |
1 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems their exams has been pushed forward in light of the recent events cause by the Illuminati which prompted a lot of concerns from various parties where one of the concerns is the quality of the Exorcists being produced. However it seems like Mephisto already has a plan which was to bring in Arch Knight Lightning as an instructor at the Exorcist Cram School but it seems he is not too keen on being an instructor. Kinda funny seeing the way Suguro begs to be his apprentice which resulted in a gauntlet of odd jobs and tests before he finally gave in. Meanwhile, it seems like Yukio is doing something dangerous again as evident by his odd behavior during class. Can’t wait for next week’s episode to learn more……… |
2 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like Yukio is trying to trigger his Demonic power behind Rin’s back however was unsuccessful despite various methods he used. Honestly, I’m not sure why he wouldn’t just work with Rin on this and come up with something less cruel to trigger the power. Meanwhile, Shiemi and Rin were sent on a mission to cleanse a house where she acts quite nervously around him which led to a bit of one to one after they both fell down a hole. Kinda funny seeing Rin having to blow up the house after being told not to. Good to see Shiemi feeling more like herself after that one to one with Rin. Can’t wait to see what awaits Yukio and Rin after Mephisto informs them of their upcoming mission……….. |
3 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like Mephisto has caught on to what Yukio was doing in his spare time as he sent both Rina and Yukio on a mission to find Shura who went missing after visiting her hometown. Kinda funny seeing Rin trying to have little bonding time together with Yukio however it seems Yukio doesn’t feel like opening up to him just yet. After discovering Shura unconscious in the forest, we learned about her past as well as her fate which prompted Rin to offer to help her. Unfortunately, Shura was kidnapped a few moments later after reporting in to Mephisto. Can’t wait to see what Rin and Yukio plan to next…………….. |
4 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see Rin and Yukio making it in time to rescue Shura. However they soon realise the power possessed by Hachiro was dangerous therefore Yukio staged a ridiculous plan on the spot in order to free Shura from her contract with Hachiro which worked really well due to Rin’s cluelessness of the plan. Unfortunately, it seems like Hachiro is quite persistent and drags Shura into the depths of the lake. Will they be able to rescue her???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
5 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see Rin, Yukio and Shima managed to rescue Shura from Hachiro despite the odds stacked against them. We also learned a bit more about Shura’s relationship with Rin and Yukio’s father, Shirou which was quite interesting. It seems Shima has caught on to what Yukio was doing in his spare time and indirectly pushes the idea from leader of Illuminati. What will Yukio do???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
6 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Not sure what is the end goal of Mephisto as he plans to use Rin and his friends to fight against the Illuminati. We also learned the real reason why Arch Knight Lightning joined them which was to investigate Mephisto as he may be hiding something. Meanwhile, it seems like Hachiro was captured by the Illuminati after being defeated by Rin. I guess they will be performing a bunch of experiments on him. Kinda funny seeing Shiemi looking confused after Rin tries to confess his love for her which resulted in a little help from Izumo. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in next week’s episode……. |
7 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. We learned quite a bit from Lightning and Suguro little investigation into Blue Night which unveiled Section 13 that Mephisto kept hidden in an alternate dimension where experimentations were carried out. While they were investigating, the discovered a room with a lot of test subjects inside glass containers. Unfortunately, their presence caused those test subjects to awaken and break out of their containers to attack them. Luckily, Mephisto teleported them out of the dimension and unveiled the remaining pieces of the puzzle which shocked Suguro. Now we know the remaining piece of Rin and Yukio’s past as they were the end results of those experimentations. One question still lingers, why Yukio is having difficulty in awakening his power if he has the same power as Rin???? Can’t wait for later episodes to find out. |
8 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Quite shocking to learn that Shimei has decided not to become an Exorcist thus she will no longer be joining them on missions after the exams. Meanwhile, it seems like Bon has found missing record during his search of Section 13 experiments which Lightning will look into. I wonder how deep this rabbit hole will go???? Kinda funny seeing most of their Christmas preparations went up in smoke after Shimei’s familiar rolled over in its sleep. Thankfully, the food survived thus they were still able to enjoy their Christmas/Birthday party. Later, Yukio finally expresses his frustration at Rin after Shura unveil the story where she met their mother. I wonder what has got him so worked up???? I guess we will find out in next week’s episode. I suspect given everything Bon has discovered so far, I suspect that their mother was used in Section 13 experiments. |
9 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. We learn a bit more about what Yukio and Rin were arguing about last night where it seems their ideals clash. From there, we can see a change in Yukio’s character which is kinda scary in my opinion. It seems to me that he is becoming more desperate in learning about the secret behind their birth. The fact he even went as far to threaten Bon during the wedding of Juzo Shima and Mamushi Hojo in order to learn what he dug up during his visit to Section 13 just shows how desperate he his. Honestly, I’m surprised he is letting the words of Lucifer really get him. Can’t wait to see how this plays out in next week’s episode. |
10 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Looks like Yukio is becoming more emotionally unstable despite his best attempt to put a strong front. This was made worst when Lightning unveiled some details of his investigation which seemed to only made him angry and more isolated from the others. He tries to talk it out with Shimei but it didn’t go well and he ended up trying to shoot himself which appears to have triggered his demonic powers despite being warned by Shima. Kinda sad seeing Shimei running up to Rin and Bon looking visibly upset after her encounter with Yukio. Can’t wait to see what happens in next week’s episode. |
Tower of God Season 2 :
Episode | Score | Comment/Impressions |
14 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. This person that Viole is helping from the Workshop Patrol robots seems quite shady. We soon learn his true objective which was to retrieve the grand prize from the ship which apparently was a human. My guess is that human person tied to a machine that we saw a while back. Meanwhile, everyone else are busy involved with another game set by the coordinator where it involves shooting in order to gain a ticket to get on the ship. Unfortunately, while Viole was fighting off the Workshop Patrol robots, Endorsi came crashing down. Can’t wait to see how this fight plays out in next week’s episode. |
15 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Not sure what happened to Wagnan’s teammates as they face off against Chang and Quaetro. Hopefully, Khun’s idea will help them all. Kinda funny seeing Endorsi getting annoyed when Viole instructed the traveller to throw bombs at her as part of their attempt to escape. Meanwhile the rest of Viole’s teammates are also fending off the other teams who seemed to have same goal of eliminating FUG whilst capturing Viole. Could it be they know that Viole is Bam???? Can’t wait to see who will make it to the workshop battle in coming episodes………. |
16 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like Viole has decided to take on Team Shibisu that has invaded their base which seems to go well at first until one of the opponents sealed his Shinsu power with a ring. This has forced Viole unleash his hidden ability which took out his opponents by surprise and forced them to retreat. Now that the game is over, their journey to the ship continues. Meanwhile, the traveller let out the secret to Endorsi that Viole is actually the 25th Bam which caught her by surprise. Noticed there was something behind her at the moment she stopped to process this new information. Will she be killed now that she knows the truth????? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
17 | 7/10 | Good episode. It seems like nothing has happened to Endorsi as she still has doubts about the traveller’s claims although his claims does seem to bother her. Meanwhile, Khun and Rak got into an arugument due to Khun’s hesitation tor rescue Viole (Bam)from FUG. Good to see Rak and Wagnan was able help Khun overcome his hesitation thus comes up with a plan to rescue Viole (Bam). Unfortunately, it seems like something has happened to one of Wagnan’s teammates, Miseng just as the first round of the workshop battle is starting. Can’t wait to see how the rest will handle it in next week’s episode………. |
18 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see the Prince managed to stop Miseng after she goes on a rampage caused by the ornament. Not sure why she put it on in the place but most likely she was already somewhat possessed by it. Later we get to see more group battles for a spot in the final tournament. It seems like this battle maybe more dangerous than previously thought as Viole ran into someone looking quite dangerous. I wonder who could it be????? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
19 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like the person that Viole ran into was named Beta who claimed to be made inside the workshop. We also learned from Beta that the ignition weapon inside Viole is just a replica and the real one is inside the arena where the upcoming development tournament will be held which explains why FUG is so intent on obtaining the weapon for their own means. Kinda funny seeing Anaak Jahad and Ran’s one-on-one battle being rudely interrupted by Paracule which knocked both of them out of the match. It seems more and more people are going to be involved. Can’t wait to see what happens in next week’s episode. |
20 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. The workshop battle continues where Team FUG and Team Mad Dog face off. However it seems like situation isn’t looking good for Viole as we learned more about Team FUG’s plans and the ultimate weapon as the prize for this round, Thorn which they plan to use Viole as the ignition weapon. Kinda interesting seeing some members of Team FUG and Team Mad Dog showing their true allegiance. Now that Viole has been trapped to be used with the Thorn, will Wagnan be able to save him???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
21 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see the truth about Viole’s true identity as well as FUG’s true goal hidden within the Workshop Battle has spread among Bam’s friends which lead to Team Khun and Team Shibisu teaming up for the semifinal tournament in order to rescue Bam. We also see Le Ro trying to buy them some time by causing chaos at a detention facility but it seems to have little effect on the enemy’s plan. It seems like their plan is to summon Bam before that ship arrives to collect Bam whom is now trapped at the bottom by Beta. Will they be able to rescue Bam/Viole in time???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
22 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see Viole was able to escape his confinement area after acquiring the Thorn. Now he is heading back to reunite with his friends while his friends try to buy him time by taking on the enemies. Meanwhile, Wagnan and Khun are heading towards the summoning station in hopes of summoning Viole. Unfortunately, it seems like Wagnan took too long to summon him which resulted in him being stabbed by Beta. The tensions are continuing to rise in this Workshop battle. Can’t wait to see what happens in next week’s episode. |
23 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see Wagnan’s friends managed to arrive just in time to save Wagnan from Beta. They also managed to eradicate the parasite that Beta swallowed earlier which allowed him to participate in the tournament. It seems like Beta is fixated on Viole after asking that Emily chatbot. After a few rounds between Viole and Beta, Beta finally surrenders only to be apprehended by the people who was accompanying the professor. Thankfully Le-Ro managed to step in and take them out with the other’s help leading to a heart-warming reunion. However their battle is not yet over as it seems FUG is preparing for their final showdown against Viole. Can’t wait to see how this plays out in next week’s episode. |

Episode | Score | Comment/Impressions |
1 | 7/10 | Good episode. Ichiyo is quite an interesting person and his friends have an odd personalities to say the least as they assist him on his mission to gather gods to bring back home. The fact Ichiyo was willing to give up anything in order to acquire the god including his beads which wasn’t a very good idea as it affected Kaka who went on a rampage. Luckily, Ichiyo was able bring them under control using his purification ritual which was quite odd but funny to watch. Unfortunately, Gyuki ended up being a young animal again due to Ichiyo ‘s purification ritual. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in next week’s episode. |
2 | 7/10 | Good episode. We continue our journey to an island where once again Tenko’s travel ability resulted in Ichiyo almost drowning which was kinda funny to watch. From there, they met a mysterious boys who always talks about his sister but for some reason never seems to live with her which is a little bit suspicious especially when the boy offered them to stay at the house. Soon we learned from the owner of the house that the boy never lived with her which leads to the conclusion that the boy named Ryu is actually the Thunder Beast. However it seems the Thunder Beast appears to be weak and hungry due to the lack of horns which was kept at a nearby shrine. Luckily, Ichiyo was able to retrieve those horns and offer them to Ryu before Tenko finishes him off while forming a pact with Ryu. With his new companion, can’t wait to see what else awaits them in next week’s episode. |
3 | 7/10 | Good episode. We learn a bit about Hakusyurin and his elder elder brother whom lived normal lives before their lives changed after Hakusyurin became the next Queen of the West. It seems to me that the this episode more focused on the past given that young Ichiyo broke into the palace to meet up with Hakusyurin and wants to bring him home but was unsuccessful Later, we are introduced to one of the four evils named Hiki. It turns out his legs was used to seal the evil inside the pillar. Can’t wait to see what other things we will discover in next week’s episode. |
4 | 7/10 | Good episode. We learned a bit more about Ichiyo’s past where he met Tenko for the first time who was chained in a temple in a forest. At first Tenko tried to attack Ichiyo however ended up getting purified by Ichiyo and ended up becoming his god attendant. Not sure what training Tenko received by Ichiyo’s comrade where his personality became so carefree which kinda annoyed Ichiyo until today. We also learned that Ichiyo held a grudge against the Queen of the West because one of his past god attendant was used as a pillar. Can’t wait to learn more in next week’s episode. |
5 | 7/10 | Good episode. Looks like an earthquake had occurred when Ichiyo met with Hakugo. It seems like the human barrier is slowly weakening. Unfortunately, someone has stolen all the immortal peaches therefore no one can leave for another country. We also learned the reason why one cannot travel to a foreign country without an immortal peach as they would die due to the air. Luckily, they managed to get some from others who already had them. Will they be able to find the perpetrator and the four evils???? Could the recent earthquake events be related to that person whom invaded the village with monsters???? The story is a bit confusing. I guess we can only wait for next week’s episode. |
6 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Kinda funny seeing Ichiyo having a heart to heart moment with Sanu. However something is up with Tenko as his power suddenly awakened. As Ichiyo tried to get help, he got dragged away by another monster like creature to deal with an attack at the Eastern Emperor. Will he be able to save Tenko and the Eastern Emperor???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
7 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like Ichiyo and Ryusei is faced with some creature that emits a stinky smell as they make their way towards those two monsters . Good to see Ryusei managed to remove the smell as well as summon one of Ichiyo’s attendant, Kaka. It also allowed Ichiyo to use his poet’s power which put a stop to the enemies without its side-effect. Unfortunately, the side-effect came a bit later where it almost knocked out Ryusei while completely knocking out Ichiyo which was kinda funny to watch. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in next episode. |
8 | /10 | [Announcement from official website(https://haigakura.jp/news/651/): Due to Production Quality issues, Episode 8 and onwards has been delayed until further notice. During this time, Episodes 1-7 will be rebroadcast.] |
Nina the Starry Bride :
Episode | Score | Comment/Impressions |
1 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Kinda sad seeing Nina’s current life was filled with such hardships that she even resorted to stealing in order live. However, she realised that her own brother sold her to Prince Azure who had ulterior motives for her where he plans to have Nina be a stand-in in order to cover up the death of his half-sister. Princess Alisha. Honestly, I’m not sure why Prince Azure would not be honest about the Alisha’s death but I guess he has his own reasons. Luckily, she survived the audience with the King and Queen as well as a little confrontation from the Queen. However I think someone has already caught on to Prince Azure’s plans. Can’t wait to see how this plays out in the coming episodes. |
2 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Nina ran into the first prince who was in line to become the next king but his demeanour doesn’t give much confidence that he will be to take on that role. Unfortunately, Nina somewhat took advantage of that and it ended up with Prince Azure and First Prince having a slight argument. It seems like someone within the castle had suspicion that Nina was a fake princess and they even gave her clues on how to leave the palace. Luckily, Prince Azure was able take them out after catching up to Nina to which she expresses her true feelings. We also learned a bit about Prince Azure’s past where that name was not his actual name which explains why the Queen hated him so much. I suspect he must have went through similar experience as Nina. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in the coming episode. |
3 | 7/10 | Good episode. It seems like Prince Azure has very little regard for his life which result in Nina seeking help from former king after overhearing their conversations. From there, we learned quite a bit about the current situation as well as confirms my suspicion that the current Prince Azure was also a stand-in similar to Nina. Apparently, Prince Azure’s situation was caused by the former king in an attempt to cover up the death due to some power struggle. Now that we know that the Queen is behind that attack but have yet to learn of either of their secrets, what will be their next move???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
4 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. We learned from the King in regards to his son Azure who he accidentally killed thus resulting in a replacement Azure. From their conversation, we learned that the King was planning on killing the replacement Azure because he was too perfect. Unfortunately, Nina was forced to continue with the current plans of being married off to a Prince in Galgerda in exchange for Prince Azure’s safety. Kinda sad seeing Prince Azure going after her when he realised all his plans was foiled by her. Can’t wait to see what happens in next week’s episode. |
5 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like Prince Sett is a lost worst than previously thought as evident when Nina saw how he treated the others. Good to see Nina being able to stand her ground despite what she had gone through. Will she be the first princess to have survive Prince Sett’s torture???? Cant’ wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
6 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seem like Nina is facing more challenges as she deals with a castle guard who is abusing his position to take advantage of others. Luckily she came up with a plan and put a stop for that guard by using Prince Sett’s name which resulted in an odd response from Prince Sett upon his return. Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse as her carriage was involved in an accident during a trip to Galgada which looks awfully similar to how the original Alisha died. Will she be able to make it out alive???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
7 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see Prince Sett managed to save her from the tiger that almost attacked her. Kinda funny seeing Nina asking whether they can keep a baby tiger that became an orphan after its mother was killed by Sett. It seems like Prince Sett has taken a liking for Nina especially after she intervened during Prince Sett’s quarrel with his brother. Unfortunately, it seems like their queen is now upping the stakes by offering the king’s position to any of the brothers to win over the Princess of Fortna. We also learned that Az is now the King of Fortna which probably will make things complicated. Can’t wait to see how this plays out in next week’s episode. |
8 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Kinda funny seeing the second, third and fourth prince fighting over Alisha. However it seems like they were unable to handle her rowdiness and stubbornness. Luckily, Prince Sett managed to intervene before it became somewhat of a blood bath. We learned quite a bit about Prince Sett’s past which was quite heartbreaking thus prompted Nina offers to help him. Unfortunately, the situation is about to get dicey, when she learned that Az is the new crowned King of Fortna and he requests an audience with the King of Galgerda. I wonder how she will handle this???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode. |
9 | 7/10 | Good episode. Kinda annoying seeing Nina trying to greet Az knowing that she intentionally left him in the past. It seems like she completely forgot why she left Fortna. Luckily, Az was able to keep his cool and pretended not to know her so that nothing bad befalls her. After noticing Nina’s unusual behavior, Prince Sett proposes that Az participate in the combat battle at their upcoming festival where he will grant his wish should he emerge victorious. Can’t wait to see how this plays out in next week’s episode. |
10 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. We learned a bit about the history of Fortna specifically the priestess whom we learned is not supposed to be married off therefore why did it happen in the first place? Could it be that someone else in Fortna knows Princess Alisha’s(Nina) true identity or has another hidden agenda? Meanwhile, the tournament got underway where we learned that the King of Galgerda was actually a women as well as the weaknesses of the four princes. Unfortunately, the tournament was a bit too violent for Alisha’s (Nina0 taste that she tried to stop the tournament which almost got her injured. Thankfully, Az was able to protect her along with Prince Sett however it seems like Prince Sett has become a bit protective of Nina. How will their match play out???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
Ron Kamonohashi’s Forbidden Deductions Season 2 :
Episode | Score | Comment/Impressions |
1 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like Moriarty went all out to get Ron’s attention and it somewhat worked when he notices the mark. on the victim’s neck. Unfortunately, they were not able to save the next season despite arriving at the destination where they predicted the 2nd attack will occur. I wonder how they will stay one step ahead of the perpetrator????? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
2 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like Ron has finally caught up with perpetrator, Winter. We also leaned that everything that has happened so far was part of the ruse by the Moriaty family in order to torment Ron which seems to have worked at first as he has played right into their hands. I wonder what will Ron do next???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
3 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems at first that Winter has outsmarted Ron in every possible way. However due to the bug and GPS trackers planted by Spitz, all of Winter’s plans went into disarray which resulted in Winter being shot by an unknown assailant. Later we learned that someone had already removed his body thus leaving no trace of the Moriaty family for Totomaru to investigate. We also learned that that the wanted hackers were also dead due to suicide. I wonder what Ron plans to do???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
4 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like Ron is still feeling a bit stressed after their last case which prompted Toto to bring him to the beach to relax. Unfortunately, they found themselves with another murder case on their hands after a dead body was discovered while they were helping a group of visitors to find their missing friend. It seems like the owner of that beachside stand may have something to do with it given his suspicious behaviour. Can’t wait to see how their investigation plays out in next week’s episode. |
5 | 8/10 | Awesome episode It seems like Ron was able to determine the perpetrator after looking at the evidence that was presented before him. I was surprised that the perpetrator even had the guts to stall for time and tried to deflect the blame on others despite all evidences pointing to him. Luckily, Mofu’s medicine managed to prevent Ron from using his ability that forces the perpetrator to kill themselves. However it had an odd side-effect where he passed out for the entire day. Not sure if this is good or bad. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in next week’s episode. |
6 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Kinda funny seeing Toto dragging Ron to a Nyonyon concert when Ron was more interested in the ongoing incident involving Hummingbird, the Talent Abductor. We soon learned that he struck again at Nyonyon after her performance after she too received a letter and a guitar from the Hummingbird. Despite the police’s best effort to protect Nyonyon, she ended up getting kidnapped from her own home. I wonder who could be behind it????? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
7 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Quite amazed seeing Ron and Toto cracking the case on Nyonyon’s disappearance. It seems like Hummingbird was disguised as a police officer that came after they arrived. We also learned the true reasoning behind the kidnappings which was somewhat sad to hear. Luckily, they were able to resolve the case however the perpetrator got away. Can’t wait to see what other cases await them in next week’s episode. |
8 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Kinda funny seeing Ron playing with toys as he is bored due to lack of new case for him to investigate. Luckily, a new case landed in front of them after they visited Psychology Research Lab with Chikori where one of the researchers was killed. The situation was even dire when there was an air of hostility among the researchers prior to the explosion. I wonder what Ron has uncovered after going through the access logs???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
9 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see that the medication is working for Ron as they cracked the case. We also learned the true reason behind the lab’s explosion which was to erase data on the computer of the skewed research data by the Professor. Later, Ron got an unusual invitation to some reunion which seemed unusual and suspicious. Can’t wait to see how this plays out in next week’s episode. |
10 | 8/10 | Awesome episode, It seems like their trip took an unexpected turn where one of the guest was found murdered this morning. Despite Toto’s best efforts in tracking down the criminal, this case maybe the most difficult to crack as they do not have any solid leads. We also learned a bit more about Ron from one of the guest who had mistaken him for his father. Unfortunately, the situation got even worse when the guest that helped them was found murdered the following day. I wonder who could be behind it???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
Yakuza Fiancé: Raise wa Tanin ga Ii :
Episode | Score | Comment/Impressions |
1 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Not sure how to put this but I’m genuinely surprised at how Yoshino’s father proposed that she get married with the son from another Yakuza group as part of the unification process between the two Yakuza groups. At first, they both didn’t seem interested in each other and were on the verge on breaking up. However, after that incident during one of their outings where Kirishima called her out she did something drastic which made him immediately fall in love for her. Not sure if she really did sell one of her kidneys though. Not sure why though but I’m getting Dazai vibes coming from Kirishima. Can’t wait to see how their relationship plays out in the coming episodes………. |
2 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Kinda funny seeing Kirishima continue to follow Yoshino around after her little stunt. Soon after, both Kirishima and Yoshino were summoned where they were issues a mission to track another missing Yakuza family members who was ranked below them. Unfortunately, things didn’t go as planned as they were both attacked after tracking them down to a famous bar. We also learned about Kirishima’s past and how he ended up in the Yakuza family. I wonder who was that person waiting outside of Kirishima’s school???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
3 | 7/10 | Good episode. It turns out that person outside Kirishima’s school was related to Yoshino as evident by their meet up the following day. Also, it seems like Kirishima’s love knows no bounds as he even broke into her apartment just to watch her sleep which freaked her out. During the meetup, we learned what Yoshino plans to do with their relationship which I believe won’t happen given the current setup by their grandparents. It seems like Kirishima has ran into one of Yoshino’s acquittance after their meetup. I wonder what they plan on talking about???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
4 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see Yoshino stepped in to stop their little quarrel. However it seems like Kirishima really doesn’t like Shouma but was completely ok with Yoshino dating anyone she likes only to unveil his next course of action which was kinda terrifying. Unfortunately, Yoshino caught a fever the following day which prompted Kirishima to take care of her but she refused which was kinda of bad idea as her fever got even worse which prompted him to take her to the hospital. Can’t wait to see their relationship continue to grow in next week’s episode. |
5 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see Yoshino managed to recover from her fever with Kirishima watching over her the entire time. Later the both went and visited Yoshino’s cousin, Tsubaki who recently moved to Yokohama which was quite an interesting meetup. I’m surprised how fast intelligence spread between Yakuzas as evident by how both sides have intel on each other. We also learned the Yoshino never actually sold her kidney but rather gave a large amount of her blood which Kirishima seemed eager to purchase. In the end, Kirishima and Tsubaki exchange contact details in order to get more pics of Yoshino which was quite funny to watch when she found out. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in next week’s episode. |
6 | 7/10 | Good episode. We get to see what Kirishima does in his free time which looks quite normal for an average teen. Later, Yoshino and Kirishima heads to her hometown in Osaka where they ran into Shouma. Kinda funny seeing Yoshino trying her best to prevent those two from fighting each other which resulted in Kirishima deciding to stay at a nearby hotel instead of Yoshino’s place. We soon know the reason why as used that opportunity to reconnect with his former ex-girlfriend, Nao. Can’t wait to learn more in the coming episode. |
7 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Yoshino ran into Nao during her tour of the univeristy she plans to further her studies. It seems like Nao was being used by Ozu so that she lure both Kirishima and Yoshino to a certain location where they would be finished off by Ozu. Luckily, Kirishima and and Yoshino managed to catch on to the plan and began working around it. Can’t wait to see how they will get out of this situation in next week’s episode. |
8 | 7/10 | Good episode. It seems like their plan is slowly starting to backfire on them as the thugs are going after them as well as Shouma . This resulted in Yoshino issuing an ultimatum to Kirishima where he has to clean up his mess by midnight or lose the opportunity to date Yoshino in the near future. Can’t wait too see how Kirishima will handle the |
9 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see Kirishima managed to handle the men who were sent after him. Later he met Nao who was very insisted to see Yoshino to which Kirishima refuses to entertain his request. Later we Yoshino dealing with other gang members in her own way which was kinda awesome to watch. In the end, they managed to accomplish their goals. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in next week’s episode. |
10 | 7/10 | Good episode. Good to see Kirishima and Yoshino managed to put a stop Ozu’s plans by having a sit down with him. It seems like Kirishima has won his bet against Yoshino thus making Yoshino his girlfriend. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in next week’s episode. |
Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles Season 2 :
Episode | Score | Comment/Impressions |
1 | 7/10 | Good episode. It seems like we have more people being summoned to the other world as evident by the 3 people rescued by Rio after being instructed by Aishia. After a quick chat, it seems like they were all related in some way back in the real world. Kinda funny seeing how Aishia acts around Rio despite being called out by Celia. We also learned that there were others besides those 3 that were summoned to this world thus preparations must be made before they set off to find them. Can’t wait to see how this plays out in next week’s episode. |
2 | 7/10 | Good episode. Good to see Miharu enjoys their little shopping trip to buy clothes for everyone despite having to be on guard in order to protect Rio and Celia’s identity as those two are still on the run. Unfortunately, they weren’t able to obtain information about Miharu’s remaining two friends but he suspects they were summoned as Heroes. It seems like Rio’s hunch was correct as one of Miharu’s friend was summoned by the Beltrum Kingdom that was on his tail since last season.. Can’t wait to see how this will play out in the coming episodes…….. |
3 | 7/10 | Good episode. It seems like Rio is determined to help Miharu and her friends return back to their own world so much so he took a trip to the Village of Spirits for help in taking care of them while carries out his research to help Miharu and her friends return back to their own world. We learned a bit more about the other heroes that were summoned by other kingdoms whom will be invited to attend a party. Not sure if this will stir up conflict between the kingdoms. Meanwhile, Miharu and her friends were attacked while Rio was still has yet to return. Luckily, Aishia was able to fend them off before Rio returned. Something about those monsters were strange as they appeared to be speaking Rio’s language before it died. It seems like the enemy plans to send more of them towards Rio’s hideout which is why Rio decides to move their base. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in next week’s episode. |
4 | 7/10 | Good episode. Rio brought his friends over to his hometown so that they can be kept safe while he embarks on another dangerous mission. Good to see everyone at the village welcome their presence by throwing a welcome party. It seems that question from Miharu somewhat bothered him as evident by the flashbacks from past events. Luckily they were able to deliver Celia’s letter without being caught. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in next week’s episode. |
5 | 7/10 | Good episode. It seems like both Hero Hiroaki and Liselotte party were forced to travel by land after Liselotte’s airship were forced to land due to the dragon attack. Unfortunately, during their journey on land they were ambushed by a group of monsters and were quickly overwhelmed even with Hero Hiroaki’s help. Luckily, Rio swooped in and fended off the enemies thus allowing them to continue their journey However it seems like he recognizes one of the delegations member. I wonder who is she???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
6 | 7/10 | Good episode. Not sure why Rio decides to hang out with them despite the risks of his true identity being exposed as one of them recognises him but he pretended not know her. Meanwhile, it seems like Masato is having a great time mingling with the residents of the village so much so that I think he’s getting used to this new world. Later we learn there maybe a planned kidnapping behind the scenes involving the person Rio just met. Can’t wait to see what happens in next week’s episode. |
7 | 7/10 | Good episode. We soon learn that Liselotte plan to investigate Rio a bit further especially after she suspects that Rio is hiding his true identity. Thankfully, Liselotte was forced to apologize to Rio after her subordinates caused a scene while Rio was trying to have a private dinner with Celia and Aishia in Amande. However despite Alphonse and his friend apologizing after the incident, I get a feeling that they are still holding a grudge against Rio as evident during the special mission assigned to them as a redemption for their actions. Can’t wait to see how this plays out in next week’s episode. |
8 | 7/10 | Good episode. It seems like more danger is brewing as Alphonse and his entire party has been wiped out and transformed into evil spirits by enemy whilst they were out investigating monsters in the forest. Will Rio be able to stop the enemy????? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
9 | 7/10 | Good episode. It seems like the city of Amande is under attack by large number of monsters from all directions. With all the soldiers mobilised, the royal palace is virtually defenseless which allowed the enemy to infiltrate the palace as the monsters draw out the soldiers. Unfortunately, when Rio and the others realised the enemies true plans it was already too late, as the enemies have already breached the room where the hero resides. Can’t wait to see what happens in next week’s episode. |

The Do-Over Damsel Conquers the Dragon Emperor :
Episode | Score | Comment/Impressions |
1 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Not sure why but I’m getting a bit of Raeliana vibes from this show as evident when Jill was killed by her fiancé, Gerald and suddenly travelled back in time to where she first proposed to her fiancé. Kinda funny seeing her trying to avoid Gerald only to accidentally propose to a person named Hadis . Judging from her past, it seems like Hadis is somewhat an enemy to her people but somehow his demeanour is completely different after she proposed to him. After a bit of back and forth, Jill is determined to continue her relationship with Hades. Can’t wait to see what awaits them in the coming episodes……. |
2 | 7/10 | Good episode. Kinda funny seeing their relationship take off after Hadis accepts Jill’s marriage proposal and gifts her a Dragon Consort’s ring. Unfortunately, it seems like Hadis already has fiancé as Jill accidentally ran into her after saving Hadis’s ship from enemy attack. It seems to me that Hadis is somewhat overjoyed with their new found relationship that he ends up wearing himself out trying to impress her. Can’t wait to see how this plays out in the coming episodes……. |
3 | 7/10 | Good episode. I’m actually surprised that Jill uncovered a plot that someone is planning to harm Hadis. She even went as far as requesting help from Sphere to which she eventually agreed but it seems like her plan was foiled at first by Marquess Beil but Hadis managed to intervene and put a stop to Marquess Beil’s plot. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in next week’s episode. |
4 | 7/10 | Good episode. Good to see Hadis managed to put a stop to Marquess Beil’s plan however he did have hear his insults before being dragged away. Not sure why but I feel like this Hadis is quite a moody person or maybe has two personalities because he is a dragon god. Quite heart-warming moment seeing Jill tend to him after he overworked himself and ended up sleeping together in bed. Unfortunately, it seems Gerald is quite persistent in having Jill as his wife that he sends another letter to her. Can’t wait to see what happens in next week’s episode. |
5 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like Gerald is still after Jill and began accusing Hadis of abducting her for his own needs. Unfortunately, their conversation was cut short due to sudden death of Marquess Beil to which rumours started spreading about the dragon god’s curse being the cause of it. Jill tries to hold back Hadis from going all out even after that sudden attack from Sphere who seemed to be possessed as well as the sudden riots in town. Not sure if Gerald is behind of it but I guess we will only find out in next week’s episode. |
6 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see Jill was able to defeat this evil goddess which appeared as a spear with a little help from Rave. It turns out that Gerald was one of those involves in instigating the people to go against the dragon emperor. Kinda funny seeing Jill and Hadis still are not aligned with each other when it comes to their relationship. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in next week’s episode. |
7 | 7/10 | Good episode. It seems like the past is slowly beginning to repeat itself as Jill and Hadis were attacked as they were heading towards imperial capital, Rahelm. Soon we learned that leader of the other forces accuses Hadis of being a false emperor by revealing his own divine heavenly sword. Luckily, Rave was able to help them escape at the cost of using up his own power thus he will be out for a while. Good to see Jill taking the initiative to gather allies as the others seemingly want to stay low for the time being. Will it enough???? Can’t wait for later episode to find out. |
8 | 7/10 | Good episode. Good to see Jill being accepted into Dragon Knights however during her initiation ceremony, the Captain Elentzia’s dragon began attacking her for no apparent reason leaving her feeling down. Luckily, Hadis realised what had happened and tried to cheer her up which seemed to do the trick. Later she met up Risteard and Captain Elentzia where they began discussing about their uncle claiming to be true emperor. Later Jill was reassigned to work with Risteard after that dragon incident where she apparently caused his dragon to flee upon seeing it which led Risteard follow Jill home where he met Hadis. Kinda funny seeing Risteard trying to drag Hadis back to the capital to meet Captain Elentzia. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in next week’s episode. |
9 | 7/10 | Good episode. Kinda funny seeing Hadis pouting after being dragged to meet Captain Elentzia. Unfortunately, during their negotiations a village was burned down by a dragon knight. However his demeanor changed when he thought Jill was selling him off to Princess Faris but thankfully Jill’s unwavering determination managed to keep his emotions in check so that Captain Elentzia will join forces to fight the false emperor. Can’t wait to see what happens in next week’s episode. |
Demon Lord 2099 :
Episode | Score | Comment/Impressions |
1 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like Demon Lord Veltol is somewhat stuck in the past after being reincarnated in the year 2099. Luckily, he still got a few people who are still loyal to him like Machina however the same can’t be said for the rest of his fellow comrades with one of them even betraying him by making devices that enhance one’s ability to surpass Veltol’s powers. After Veltol went to meet him, he finally realises the reasoning behind his betrayal. Unfortunately, he was too slow and weak to counter Marcus’s attacks thus ending up in the dumps as reality finally sets in. Can’t wait to see how he plans to regain power and dominance in the coming episodes………. |
2 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. We learned about Machina and how she met Lord Veltol which was quite interesting. Good to see Lord Veltol is trying to being considerate towards Machina by offering to take on jobs so that he will not be a burden towards her. Unfortunately, he is unable to land a job due to lack of Familia implant which kinda sucks. Later Machina introduces Lord Veltol to one of her friends which turns out to be that girl he ran into in the previous. Can’t wait to see how things go from here in next week’s episode. |
3 | 7/10 | Good episode. I’m actually amazed that Lord Veltol was able to get into game streaming following Takahashi’s advise which helped him gain popularity as well as income. Later he ran into a familiar face from the past during a stroll through the back alleys of Shinjuku’s outskirt which turns out to be the hero that defeated him. So I guess even the Hero can have eternal life but for some reason he seems out of character. After treating him to some ramen, they had a little chat but nothing fruitful came out of it. Meanwhile, it seems like Marcus is up to something big. Can’t wait to see what happens in next week’s episode. |
4 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. I’m surprised that Lord Veltol was able to recreate some of the Familia’s features using his own magic power. However something disturbing was uncovered while he was helping out Takahashi where he faced against a robot that the Yakuza gang should not have possessed. The item retrieved from it shows the list of all of Lord Veltol’s immortal comrades. Unfortunately, the person who hired Takahashi was also killed shortly after the person hired her for the job, We learned quite a bit about the shady project which powers Shinjuku which made Lord Veltol uneasy. Can’t wait to see what happens in next week’s episode. |
5 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Unfortunately, Machina was attacked at her home by Marcus and later captured after she lost the fight. Apparently, Marcus’s special familia can hack into other people’s familia and force them to shutdown hence why Machina lost the fight. Luckily, Takahashi was able to use the nearby drones to find out what happened to her. Kinda ironic seeing Lord Veltol having to enlist help from the Hero for his plan to save Machina to which he resisted at first but soon realised that the current Lord Veltol is different from one he encountered from his past life. Unfortunately, it seems like Marcus was already expecting them as they ran into one of his henchmen after taking a secret route. Will they be able to save Machina in time???? Can’t wait for next week’s episode to find out. |
6 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. We learned the truth about the fate of the other immortals which pretty much explains why they keep disappearing as time goes on. Good to see the immortal hero, Gram put up quite a fight against Kinohara even in her fancy battle suit of armours which shocked her. Quite surprising seeing a group of robots which attacked both Gram and Kinohara after their battle concluded. Luckily, Lord Veltol managed to save Machina from her demise after Marcus threw her into the Immortal Furnace which in turn powers Aether Reactor of Shinjuku. Can’t wait to see how the battle plays out in next week’s episode. |
7 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Good to see Lord Veltol was able to use Marcus’s own inventions against him despite trying to give him a chance to surrender but to no avail. Luckily, Lord Veltol was able to use his 2nd form thanks to Takahashi’s help. In the end, Marcu’s refusal to surrender resulted in him being thrown into Immortal Furnace which marks the end for him. Can’t wait to see what else awaits Lord Veltol as his journey continues beyond Shinjuku in next week’s episode. |
8 | 7/10 | Good episode. Kinda funny seeing Lord Veltol being completely truthful during his visit to Akihabara Private School of Magic “Lu Xel” to find an ancient device which will help him track the rest of his lost comrades. I’m actually surprised they were somewhat understanding however he does have some obstacles to overcome before they will grant him his request. Can’t wait to see how this plays out in next week’s episode. |
9 | 7/10 | Good episode. It seems like Lord Veltol is excelling in his lessons which was much of a surprise given he more experience. Later, he was challenged to a duel by school’s top student Albert after he called him out for provoking Hizuki. Kinda funny seeing Albert being completely defeated during the duel however it seems like Hizuki doesn’t want any contact with anyone which prompted the gang to do some digging at a maid cafe of all places. Unfortunately, they were shocked to learn that Hizuki was actually working there which kinda explains why she was avoiding any contact with people. Can’t wait to see how this plays out in next week’s episode. |
Blue Miburo :
Episode | Score | Comment/Impressions |
1 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Quite an interesting backstory into how Nio joined the Miburo which started with an encounter with a charming swordsmen in their grandmother’s Kyoto eatery who claimed they were investigating a series of kidnappings of young children. I never thought they would use Nio and his sister as bait to lure out the kidnappers from which Nio sensed that one of them was forced to carry out the kidnappings which immediately prompted those swordsmen to invite him to join their team. Can’t wait to see what awaits Nio after he accepted their offer………. |
2 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Kinda funny seeing how Nio was greeted by some of the Miburo members after arriving at their HQ. Not sure how on earth did Nio end up in a sumo wrestling match against someone his age but it seemed to enjoy it. We also got to see Nio experience a couple of missions as member of Miburo however it seems like he lacks something which makes him doubt his actions especially after seeing Toshizou mercilessly take out enemies. Hopefully he will be able to find something which can dispel those doubts and give him confidence to strive as member of Miburo. Can’t wait to see what else awaits him in next week’s episode. |
3 | 7/10 | Good episode. Nio meets another fellow Miburo member named Tanaka Taro whom despite warnings from Toshizou still tries to make friends with him. We learn quite a bit about Taro along with his personality which seems a bit strange for a boy his age and may have something to do with his past. Kinda funny seeing Okita come along and teach Nio a little technique to gain the trust of a person. Soon we learn the extent of Taro’s problem is when just simply obeyed Serizawa’s orders to clean up his mess of murdering Tonoichi which shocks Nio. Luckily he was able to confront Tonoichi to get the truth out of him. Can’t wait to see what else awaits him in next week’s episode. |
4 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. Kinda funny seeing Nio struggle to master swordsmanship which I guess isn’t his strong point. It seems like his determination and clumsiness is annoying another Miburo member, Saito Haijme who happens to be the same age as Nio. Later Hijikata takes them out to town in an effort to get them to know each other where he got more than he bargained for. Luckily, Nio and Saito was able to work together in order to defuse the situation although both of them got an earful for not adhering to Hijikata’s orders. Good to see Saito finally open up to Nio and offers to help him with his sword training. Can’t wait to see what else awaits them in next week’s episode. |
5 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like the Miburo was invited to the Aizu’s headquarters in Kyoto to help with the recent killings that was occurring over there. From there, they ran into a kid named Seto where they learned a bit more about the incident. At first, I thought Seto was the perpetrator given his odd behaviour during the conversation Nio however Nio and Saito ran into the real perpetrator whilst heading back to their accommodations. Can’t wait to see how this battle will play out in next week’s episode. |
6 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. We learned a bit more about the perpetrator during their fight which uncovered something alarming in regards to what he was fighting for to which Nio disagrees. Unfortunately, their battle escalated by the perpetrator’s ally whom attacked Nio. Luckily, Okita and Taro managed to save him and bring him back to safety. From there, Hijikata finally Nio his own sword so that he can fight back. Can’t wait to see how this plays out in next week’s episode. |
7 | 8/10 | Awesome episode. It seems like Nio has realised that Seto had planned the attack on them. After confronting Seto with the evidence, he finally gave in and even offered to help them capture the assassins but Nio refused as he suspects something more behind it. In the end, Hijikata calls out to them that they have lead on one of the assassins. However as they went in to apprehend them, Kondo was almost fooled by the assassin’s old appearance and fake story. Luckily, the assassins was not able to escape therefore was apprehended. Later we see Saito confronts another one of those assassins who was on the lookout for his chance to strike. Can’t wait to see what happens in next week’s episode. |
8 | 7/10 | Good episode. Good to see Nio was able to capture the final culprit which earned them the praise from Lord of Aizu as well as change his perspective about the Miburo. Kinda funny seeing them showing off their swordsmanship after being praised by Lord of Aizu. Later, we got to see Nio trying to help Todo-san to win over a lady in town which failed miserably. Afterwards, Todo ended up going for haircut that ended up with him being laughed at by the rest of the Miburo. Can’t wait to see what else them in next week’s episode. |
