Hi everyone. Another season is almost coming to a close and with it a lot of great simulcasts that we took a look at during that time. Also, I will try to release my list for Winter 2025 Season simulcast selections in the coming days
What are the changes made to the review process? I will rate both the Japanese Dub and English Dub(If any) on a scale of 1 to 10 as usual. Afterwards, I will provide brief comments(If any) regarding the shows based on the rating given. The simulcasts are arranged based on their final episode simulcast date.
Negative Positive Angler:
Japanese Dub: 7/10

Comments(If any): First impression when I first started watching this series was how interesting a anime about fishing can be and how it can overcome some of life challenges which can sometimes leave someone with suicidal thoughts. The story was good where we introduced to Sasaki where he was almost on the verge of committing suicide after encountering one disappointment after another but was saved by Takaaki who was also facing some of his own challenges. The character development was good as Sasaki slowly began pivot away from suicide and began to enjoy life thanks to fishing. Overall, its a good laid-back show for those who enjoy fishing.
Mecha-Ude: Mechanical Arms:
Japanese Dub: 9/10
English Dub: /10
Comments(If any): I haven’t watched any Mecha related anime for long time therefore this show is kinda of refresher for me where we see Hikaru’s life changed forever after accidentally awakening one of these Mecha-Ude named Alma. The story was excellent as we witness all the ups and downs that Hikaru had to go through in order to help Alma return to his own world. The character development was excellent as we got to see Hikaru grow as he overcame challenges as well as making new friends. Overall its an excellent show for those who are into Mecha shows with a hint of action.
Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online II:
Japanese Dub: 7/10
English Dub: 7/10
Comments(If any): We are back for the 2nd season for this series where we see LLEN continue her journey in GGO thanks to Pitohui who still holds a grudge against in the previous tournament. The story was good as we see LLEN and her friends encounter more challenges in new tournaments. The character development was good where we see LLEN overcoming her biggest challenge when participating in GGO with the help from others around her. Overall its a good show for those who are into MMO shooting games with a bit of spice of life.
Blue Exorcist Season 4: -Beyond the Snow Saga-:
Japanese Dub: 9/10
English Dub: 9/10
Comments(If any): “Wow, just wow” was my impression after watching the last episode for Season of Blue Exorcist. The story was excellent as we uncover more secrets linking the Illuminati and the Knights of the True Cross which led to several conflicts. The character development was excellent as we got see almost every character continue to grow as they face more challenges. Overall its an excellent show for those who are into the supernatural and action. Can’t wait to see how the story continues in the next season which is set to premiere in January 2025.
Nina the Starry Bride:
Japanese Dub: 8/10
English Dub: 8/10
Comments(If any): Well this was quite an interesting show which involve deception from the very beginning by certain parties for their own benefits. The story was excellent as we got to see Nina’s journey as she was forced to live as the deceased Princess Alisha which must be quite a burden to keep her true identity a secret. The character development was excellent as we got to see Nina grow as she overcame all the challenges while trying to maintain a relationship. Overall its an excellent show for those who are into romance with some political conflicts mixed in. Can’t wait to see how the story will play out if we get a 2nd season as it ended in a cliffhanger.
Yakuza Fiancé: Raise wa Tanin ga Ii:

Comments(If any): This is another odd romance show where it involves a couple from two different Yakuza groups who seemed to be forced into a relationship at first. The story was good as we got to see Yoshino and Kirishima continue to grow as they overcame their own challenges and conflicts as members of the Yakuza while trying to maintain their relationship with each other. Overall its an interesting show if you are into romance with a hint of gangsterism.
Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles Season 2:
Japanese Dub: 7/10
English Dub: 7/10
Comments(If any): We are back for another season with Rio as he has to contend with another group of people from his past life in Japan have appeared in the new world. The story was good as we got to see Rio having to try his best to help them out while at the same trying to chase down the person who killed his parents. The character development was ok as we only saw minor growth as he easily overcame the challenges that came his way. Overall its a good show for those who are into action, adventure and Isekai. Can’t wait to see the continuation of the story in the next season if confirmed.
TASUKETSU -Fate of the Majority-:
Japanese Dub: 6/10
English Dub: /10
Comments(If any): Not sure where to start for this series as I thought it was going to be something like Darwin’s Game or Tomodachi Game but I was somewhat right as it had a bit of those vibes. The story was ok as we got to see a group of students lead by Saneatsu being involved in a game called Taseketsu which was such long and winding journey that almost made me feel uninterested given all the jargon they use throughout the series. The character development was good as we saw multiple characters grow throughout the game as they overcame challenges to bring the game to an end. Overall, its a good show if you are into a show that is filled with suspense, action and some nerdy bits.
The Do-Over Damsel Conquers the Dragon Emperor:

Comments(If any): When I started watching for the first time, I thought this show was all serious stuff but that wasn’t the case as we do occasionally get a hint of comedy throughout the series. The story was excellent as we see Jill trying her very best to prevent a repeat of future events after being transported back in time by some unknown force shortly after she was killed. The character development was excellent as we got to see both Jill and Hadis grow throughout the series as they faced many obstacles in their quest to prevent an all out war between countries. Overall its an excellent show for those who are into rom-con or romantic comedy.
The Prince of Tennis II U-17 World Cup Semifinal:
Japanese Dub: 7/10
English Dub: 7/10
Comments(If any): This is probably one of the most brutal sport Shounen anime I have ever witnessed. The story was good as we see Ryoma and Team Japan facing off Team Germany in the Semi-Finals of the U-17 World Cup while bearing witness to a lot of internal monologues among its players. The character development was good as we got to see almost every player grow in their own unique way throughout the match as they awakened to new abilities in their bid to win the match. Overall its a good show if you are into Shounen sport anime involving tennis. Can’t wait to see the story continue in the next season as Team Japan advances to the final round where they will face off against Team Spain.
BLUE LOCK 2nd Season: Blue Lock vs. U-20 Japan:
Japanese Dub: 9/10
English Dub: 9/10
Comments(If any): We are back for another explosive season after being treated to the movie earlier in the year where Blue Lock Eleven faces off against the U-20 Japan despite complaints about the animation quality at the beginning. However I think its good enough given the time they had to complete the series. The story was excellent as we got to see everyone putting themselves on the line in order to win the match. The character development was excellent as everyone on the field evolved throughout the match as they continue to face their own challenges. Overall its an excellent anime for those who are into sport shounen anime. Can’t wait to see the sequel involving the 2nd phase of Blue Lock.
Demon Lord 2099:
Japanese Dub: 8/10

Comments(If any): Not sure why but every time I see Lord Veltol, I always thought it was Lord El-Melloi as they have a quite a similar appearance. The story was excellent as we see Lord Veltol traversing the future trying to find his lost comrades as well as gaining new allies in order to rule the world. The character development was excellent as we got to see Lord Veltol not only grow but also change in character to have more empathy for others which he didn’t have in his past life. Overall its an excellent show if you are into shows where magic and tech intertwine.
Tower of God Season 2:

Comments(If any): Definitely another awesome season for this series with so many things happening throughout the series as Viole continues his journey to find Rachel while teaming up with a new friend, Wagnan. The story was excellent as we get to see Wagnan’s fate change after meeting up with Viole during one of the tests to advance to the next floor of the tower. The character development was excellent as we got to see Wagnan and Viole grow as they overcame their own challenges while striving to achieve their goals. Overall its an excellent show for those who are into action packed adventure anime. Can’t wait for their journey to continue in the next season once confirmed.
Ron Kamonohashi’s Forbidden Deductions Season 2:

Comments(If any): We are back with another instalment for this series where Ron continues doing detective work while trying to learn more about his relationship with the House of Moriarty. The story was excellent as we get to see Ron helping Isshiki with cases as they inch closer to learning the truth of Ron’s mysterious power. The character development was excellent as we got to see Isshiki grow as overcame challenges in various cases he had to investigate thus boosting his confidence in his detective skills. Overall its an excellent show if you are into detective anime. Can’t wait for their journey to continue once another season is confirmed.
